Task bar icon new message indicator doesn't clear when messages are read

Thunderbird 115.1.0, Win10 latestTask bar icon new message indicator doesn't clear when messages are read. Selecting a different folder then reselecting the Inbox folder clears the indicator. Shouldn't this happen automatically?

Please add an option to disable pull down to refresh on Android.

Every once in a while I accidentally refresh a page when I intended to scroll up, an option to disable it for those that don't like it would be very nice to have.I prefer using the refresh button, I can't be the only one?
