Problems with DuckDuckGo and Quora on latest build

tab width narrows down when getting notifications from the page

i have browser.tabs.tabMinWidth configured with 180. but the tab width narrow down to around 90 when getting notifications from the page.

Tab volume indicator expanding tab space

I noticed the volume indicator when a tab plays a sound now would expand the tab size in the tabs bar, is there any way to revert to the previous behaviour where the icon will occupy the favicon instead?
