I prefer to not send a name with my emails but only the email address itself. This is possible with Thunderbird Android by editing Account settings -> Sending mail -> Composition defaults and removing "Your name", which was set during the initial setup. With Firefox 138, finally I can use multiple profiles like in Chrome (previously I was using the workaround of containers + containerize extensions)! Love it! But, if possible, I want to have the option to display only one icon in the taskbar (on this case, no profile icon would be displayed over the icon). Similar to Chrome (yes, I know, I know...) The new profiles are really great because they make it easy to manage multiple accounts on social media platforms and to separate all the passwords between private and work-related ones. However, the default settings like search engine, tools, etc., are unlikely to change much, as they are a matter of personal preference that will probably apply to all profiles. When I browse reddit, no matter the sub I'm on, firefox translate always thinks the source is in french because it's the language of my UI. about:preferences#containers My simple request is to make this list reorderable with drag-and-drop. For example, if I have 10 container tabs, and I add a new one, it goes to the bottom of the list. I would like to be able to drag them around to sort them so I don't have to delete them to change the list. Presently established that export of FF bookmarks on desktop does not include mobile. Suggested work arounds include copy/paste of rhs content to other top categories. I think there should be a lot of work done to have the profiles working, like for instance making them native and customizable like in Chrome. I think a lot of us are switching over to FF because of Chrome's latest version that doesn't allow adblockers, but there is so much more that Chrome does better which is making this a difficult transition. I created separate profiles, one for work and one personal, and they both have Ublock Origin, however the filters I create don't sync automatically. The only way to do it is to backup/restore, which is very irritating since I am on the same computer and I shouldn't have to copy/paste or backup/restore. ... View more

In Mozilla Firefox, passwords stored in the logins.json and key4.db files are encrypted using the Triple DES (3DES) algorithm in CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode.
