Hello team, I've been a user since Firefox has been around and I can safely say it's the best browser out there (especially for someone who's an avid organizer like me; your bookmarks library has the best features)! I would like to suggest adding a Bookmarks feature, if possible. There's the "Tags" property, and the "Keyword" one, but sometimes there are other stuff, miscellaneous info, that I'd like to add to some bookmarks, and there's nowhere for me to put them. I've tried adding them in the Tags or Keyword properties, but it just messes things up. I really wish there were another place to add info in, like a memo of fome sort. The 'Manage bookmarks' button appears twice on the bookmark menu. I think it would be a better experience to have just one of these buttons in this menu, either at the top or the bottom of the bookmarks menu, rather than both. Please remove one of them. ... View more

In the UK, US and other countries, commas (and not dots) are used as thousands separators, e.g. 10,000 = 10 thousand (not 10.000). The problem with this is that whenever a comma is used as a thousands separator in Firefox Bookmark tags, the comma is interpreted incorrectly, so that in the case of 10,000 the 10 and 000 get separated. I'm not sure what the best solution would be. Maybe use semicolons instead of commas? Use a different separator? But something needs to be done to fix this glaring problem. ... View more

This is a suggestion for a temporary automated bookmark feature in Firefox. With this feature, you can press a key to save a website that will open the next time Firefox is launched. This is helpful because not everyone wants every site to open when Firefox launches. Having a temporary bookmark that is quick and easy to set up would be great. Here’s how it would work: Find an interesting website that you’d like to read later. You want to close Firefox but save the website (and the setting to have Firefox reopen to the last link is off). Description: It would be a totally handy addition if you could assign a bookmark to multiple bookmark folders. Assigning to a folder would be similar to how hashtags are currently assigned to bookmarks. Practical example: This would e.g. allow bookmarks to be 'contained' in a folder "A" as well as in a folder "B". Where folder "A" could be included in the bookmarks bar, but "B" could not. Mozilla I've been using Firefox as my main browser for going on 20 years and see no compelling reason to switch to another one. Thanks for making a solid and dependable product. As a full-time researcher,I use the bookmarks editor/save feature extensively for my 84MB of bookmarks. I would like to propose a small change that would benefit me and perhaps others. The current setup is that, if I save a URL to more than one folder, the "Remove Bookmark" command changes to "Remove 2 Bookmarks" (or "Remove x Bookmarks", depending on how many I've created for that URL). The problem is that the bookmark locations are not shown, except for one location up in the "Location" field. Therefore, I don't know the other locations of my saved bookmark. It would be immensely helpful if each bookmark location was listed with a checkbox next to it. That way, I could remove only some of the bookmarks and leave the rest in place. Hi I have a lot of bookmarks with a lot of sub folders and it is really frustating to have to switch the window everytime. I currently have my browser and the bookmark window next to each other in split screen. I would love if you could manage bookmarks in a tab on the current window to make navigation easier. Alongside that, Id love it if I could open a specific folder instead of it going to other bookmarks and me having to click through everything again.   ... View more

Not sure what these "smart" views are called? But we have Recently Bookmarked and Recent Tags: Would be great if users could create their own smart view of bookmarks (or even History), you could have Most Visited, Most Ancient (this would help weed out many old bookmarks), 2022, 2021 etc. Kinda like iTunes with its Smart Playlists:       ... Parfois je doit quitter la session pour passer à autre chose mais j'aimerais reprendre mon travail la ou j'ai quitté. Pour faire cela, j'ouvre un nouveau document LibreOffice et je copie les liens, éventuellement accompagné d'une petite description - ça prend du temps et n'est pas toujours claire ce que j'ai sauvegardé. Créer un nouveau Dossier et enregistrer les onglets un par un dans les Marque-pages n'est pas une solution facile dans cet cas. L'IDÉE : Dans les Marque-pages de pouvoir SAUVEGARDER LA SESSION et la nommer du façon qu'on peut ré-ouvrir toutes les onglets dans une nouvelle fenêtre et reprendre l'activité. To do this, I open a new LibreOffice document and copy the links, possibly with a small description - it takes time and it's not always clear what I saved. I would like to have access to a much longer list of folders to which I have recently added bookmarks when choosing where to add the current bookmark. The list is currently limited to something like 5-7, but often when I am bookmarking a lot of new URLs, I want quick access to a folder where I bookmarked a page ten or twenty bookmark additions ago. This seems like it would be a relatively simple and safe enhancement that would save users a lot of time. Also, I and a lot of other users, from what I can tell having researched this online, would like there to be an effective and easy way to permanently delete a URL from the list of suggested URLs that are offered when typing in a new URL in the address/search field. I use the recommended technique to delete them, but it's never permanent. The next time I launch Firefox, all the old suggestions are restored and I have to delete them again.
