A backup button that saves the current state of bookmarks

Hello. I would like to use Firefox as my primary browser but i am paranoid about my bookmarks, and i can't trust Firefox with them. Because i had an experience of loosing bookmarks with Firefox (long ago), it was because of some bug and the lost of the bookmarks also synced to the servers and so they were lost. Since then i have been using Chrome as the primary browser. I am not sure how anyone can help me about the trust problem, i do not want any manual or advanced background solution, or an extension solution. But there is a feature suggestion i would like to make that would help me and maybe others.

a backup button, that is when clicked saves the current state of bookmarks to the servers as a separate backup that is only overwritten when the button is clicked next time

or if you want to keep it local, you could just backup or firefox config folder.
