When I right click on a single Bookmark, or Bookmarks Menu, or Other Bookmarks, I would really like to see the following options appear: "Add this Bookmark to the 'Exceptions - Cookies & Site Data' list!" or "Add all Bookmarks on this Menu to the 'Exceptions - Cookies & Site Data' list!"
The same would be practical for adding any Bookmarks to the "Block Pop Ups - Exceptions" list.
I ask for this because of the recent Firefox behavior of "not loading a page" for unexplained reasons, e.g. 'not loading a page with a HTTPS URL by stating that it is an HTTP URL', or using unclear error messages like PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR.
You might be able to understand that manually retyping 150 or more bookmarks in the "Exceptions - Cookies & Site Data list" and in the "Block Pop Ups - Exceptions" list does not feel like we have reached the pinnacle of computerized efficiency.
Do any of the Firefox programmers use commercial security softwares and firewalls, like Windows Defender, Avast, ZoneAlarm, AVG, Norton, Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Netdefender, Cisco, McAfee, ESET, Sophos, etc? Well if you do, what do these all have in common? Certainly exceptions lists! Blocking of certain ports, certain known bad actors, certain types of transmissions is another common item. Artificial Intelligence? Not so much!
So, if you think about it, copying, exporting and importing exceptions list from a browser to any given security software ought to be a do-able proposition. Anyone able to give it a try?
