Many of the error pages—e.g. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR—are suggesting to "inform the website owners" about the problem. As website owners we spend a fair amount of time and resources responding to mostly unnecessary errors reports, or on investigating errors that were only temporary and can't be reproduced anymore. IMHO the actual Phrase provokes unneccessary error reports: > Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Suggested change, implicitly asking the user to cooperate: > If the problem persists, please contact the website owners to inform them of the issue. (I hope this is the right place for wording suggestions. If not, I'd appreciate a hint into the right direction.)

In settings, I know it's possible to change the e-mails font size, however the UI font size doesn't change. This add-on increases the UI font size a little bit, but I don't think we should rely on add-ons to change something so basic.

After discussing in german camp firefox, it would help me and others, if I could select if bookmarks or bookmark folders should be synchronized or not. Today for syncing bookmarks, there's "ALL OR NOTHING". BEST way from my point of view would be the option to mark bookmarks with a "private" stamp and this bookmark would be linked to the computer name. So it is synchronized with the profile server, but isn't distributed with sync to other computers with my profile. ALTERNATIVE would be to mark them or seperate them als "synchronized/open bookmarks" and "private bookmarks" and I can select in my Firefox sync profile if I want to sync all or just the open bookmarks. mod.: Maybe the term "local bookmarks" would describe it better. But I'd prefer a "local" value on the bookmark instead of a seperate category/bookmark structure, which could also be a solution. I don't want two seperate bookmark structures (personal preference), I want them within my existing bookmarks, maybe with a different icon in front. Not all computers are locked and managed with own profiles for family members. Family members use my profile on my 2nd "hobby" laptop computer which is laying around, but shouldn't bother about using or even deleting bookmarks I only use on my major computer that I use for hobby and work. So I could stop spreading my work bookmarks to the 2nd computer. And be sure that nobody deletes them from my work computer by deleting them from the 2nd. I know that using different profiles would help, but in daily routine, there must be a way to seperate synced and un-synced bookmarks within one profile.

Can you add these two features ?
- Save all tabs to a text file and let user name it. I'm currently performing a research on real estate in Ontario, I would just click an easily available single button to perform that operation. The only prompt will be : Save As, and I will name it
- Save all tabs from site to text file with sitename It will save all tabs specific to a www.site.com to a text file name called $site+$timestamp
- Save all tabs from site to a bookmark folder It will save all tabs specific to a www.site.com to a bookmaker folder named $site
User must be able to perform all these in one single click, meaning a nice obvious button.
It must be obvious and feel seamless, no long menus and nothing, just click and done

Currently there is a "Help/Report Deceptive Site" there also needs to be a "Help/Report Non loading site" this needs to highlight security settings, and issues. i.e. Ikea Canada, if you have 'Settings/Privacy & Security/Strict' you are not able to login to the site, with '/Standard' you are. This feedback could allow the Mozilla devs to address 'key sites' or a add a new function that highlights the issue to the user, so they could add an exception for the site while maintaining /Strict for other sites.

Have you noticed how some posts on news aggregators have audio gain at 100%? You browse one video with mumblers so you turn up your sound a bit then hit the next one that's at 100% gain and it blows out your eardrums. With the rise of TikTok this is happening much more frequently. The fix for this is sound compression. It lower sounds above a certain level. There are extensions that do this but none of them work well because they are not allowed to change cross-domain audio sources. This affects many sites since pulling video content from other sources is very ubiquitous now.

I had this idea after reading this one: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/shortcut-for-different-profiles/idc-p/6317 In case you do not know what I am talking about, please check out this article explaining about guest mode (there's also pictures showing how it works). In Edge and other Chromium-based browsers, through guest mode, it's possible to easily create a temporary profile that doesn't enable the privacy features of private mode, therefore potentially improving compatibility with privacy unfriendly websites, and allowing the use of a temporary history (as opposed to none in private mode). Also, in guest mode, all extensions are disabled, which is not always the case in private mode. Overall I think it's a very useful feature, so please upvote this Idea!

What I really miss very often is an attachment extractor to extract attachments from multiple selected mails. Since the old AttachmentExtractor Add-On is no longer developed I hope there will be a solution for this.

Hello,
I would love that in the message panel one more of the options be Translate.
I currently use Unofficial DeepL translate extension, but I need to select the text and choose the last option from the floating panel and it just opens in a new tab.
In that sense I think it is possible to integrate the extension or see other alternatives.
Shhh as in outlook but don't tell them that I told you so ; - )

Hello, I use BETA v106.0b1 on windows 11 pro v22H2, and Mail in a Box as mail server on Ubuntu 18 server, and when I choose unified folders in thunderbird, all except spam and archive folders are unified, as you can see in the attached image. How can I solve it or can you include it in the next BETA? Thanks!

It would be great to have better integration with the Gnome desktop. Email accounts, calendar and contacts added to Gnome should be automatically picked up by Thunderbird.

It’d be great if there was an option to turn off the auto-hide of the tabs on the iPad version of Firefox since it’s hard for me to consistently get them back. Hovering over the top of the page with my mouse and hard scrolling consistently don’t work and it is very frustrating when trying to flip between a few tabs. I would rather see the tabs at all times and choose to hide them with a full screen mode if necessary.

Hello,
My suggestion is for this scenario:
You select a mail (sent or received), then on the contextual menu you select "Write to recipients" obtaining a new empty mail with all the recipients of the original mail (to, cc, ccn) already written.
Thanks in advance

Apple's Mail on iOS has this feature where it memorizes where you move messages to. I think, it is somehow based on subject/recipient/sender. It would be nice to have that in Thunderbird, on top of the "Move to 'foo' again" where it only uses the last moving location for the previous message.

Using Thunderbird with IMAP servers on several different machines, folders retain data on one client, even after permanently deleting them on another client (and compacting the folder). So it'd be nice if there was a right-click folder function that did a proper "Refresh" and updated the folder to represent what's on the server. (Even re-starting Thunderbird doesn't immediately "clear" the folder at present.)
