使用场景:
我有多个设备,且有一个插件 IDM Integration Module。在某些设备上我并不需要它,希望设置独立设置它不同步。
Usage scenario: I have multiple devices and a plugin called IDM Integration Module. On some devices, I don't need it and would like to set it separately to not synchronize.

There is no free and at the same time usable app to annotate or sign your pdf files in android.
It would be really helpful for students to be able to take notes in their slides, just as it is in the desktop version

It would be good if bookmarks could be edited/deleted from the search result (in the bookmarks section). Currently I have to find the bookmark, open it and then edit/delete it using the star icon.

UI elements such as context menus and dialogs in Thunderbird could be smarter if they display information that is more contextually relevant.
For example, expanding the “Move To” context menu for an email message has a first tier of selecting an identity, then the destination folder(s) within. This interface and interaction could be simplified by immediately presenting folders associated with the identity for the email message, then the other identities as alternative options. By removing this tier of selection, users can avoid having to associate the email with the identity it came from, and also the time with selecting the extra tier by default (while still providing the option to move between identities). I've mocked this example up in the attached image.
This same concept could be applied elsewhere, such as the “Copy To” menu.

I hope that the history function of the android app can become better. After a certain amount of time like today and yesterday. The rest is pretty useless like last 7 days. I hope that history can be divided into dates like some other browsers. Which makes it easier to understand on which date did you do something or from when till when you finished a book or series. Thank you

Dear developers, dear community, What I have been missing for a long time is a modern and advanced way of formatting texts in emails similar to Outlook. The possibilities in Thunderbird remind me of Netscape, which created rudimentary possibilities several decades ago, if anyone still remembers. Outlook is unfortunately light years ahead of Thunderbird in this respect. This applies to font sizes in pt, highlighting, indentation, assignment of tasks/mentions (@xyz: ...) and much more. Wouldn't it be time for Thunderbird to catch up here? Not everyone is a computer nerd and likes the old way of doing things. For my part, I would like to stay loyal to TB, but I also don't want to miss out on the latest features. Best regards and thanks for the support, if any. Thomas

The latest version 128.0 (64-bit) no longer allows a return key click in the search bar to open the default search engine page. This was a very efficient tool that I used dozens of times per day. The removal of this tool has made the search bar function cumbersome.

It would be helpful to be able to export contacts to a spreadsheet, then edit from there, and import the cleaned up contact list. I'd probably prefer being able to import cleaned up contact list with a new name to be sure everything is OK. Then I would either just delete the old contact list or archive it [either in T'bird on just as the spreadsheet I started working with.] I say "it would be helpful", but those of you who know much more than I about these things might have an easier or better idea. Thanks for reading and considering.

Hi, It would be great to have discard option where we can select which tabs to keep alive and which not to refresh for memory and other reasons. Chrome has a very functional one at chrome://discards/ I select a tab not to be refreshed or discarded or made passive, like listening to online music, then it works fine. Otherwise, after some time the tab becomes passive and music stops. Thank you Best regards

There are several command line options available for Firefox (all listed here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/CommandLineOptions), however there seems to be no option to open an URL in a specific container.
A possible workaround might be to set "always open this site in...", however this does not work if one needs to use the same website with different containers/accounts.
One possible idea for the option could be to add an option --container [NAME], such as --container "Work", or --container [No.]

Hi,
After every update, there is an automated What's New in Firefox tab being appended to the very last tab. It is quite inconvenient.
I have hundreds of tabs. There are one ore to major ones I use. When What's New tab is opened and focused, I close it. But the focus does not go back the last tab I was working on.
This should be optional right from the updates page in settings. I should not be looking around Google for some registry solutions or changes in about:config.
Thank you Best regards

Move the privacy.firstparty.isolate switch to your browser settings, otherwise many people don't know about this feature, which was developed many years ago. In addition, I would like to ask if there is omnidirectional cookie protection in Firefox's enhanced tracking protection, so is it necessary to turn on first-party isolation, because omnidirectional cookie protection already has an isolation function, and can turning on first-party isolation enhance privacy protection

Problem: when switching between accounts from within the side menu, each time the menu closes automatically, instead of being kept open and displaying the account folders. Behavior results in user having to reopen the side menu manually again after each switch, just to go to a specific folder. Suggestion: switching between accounts should simply result in showing the folders of the switched to account, and the menu should kept open. #Thunderbird PS: mozilla ideas is missing a category for k-9 mail

Firefox uses Disconnect's tracker list, but that's not enough, and I recommend using some ad filters' privacy protection lists to improve your privacy. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/FiltersRegistry/master/filters/filter_17_TrackParam/filter.txt and https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdguardTeam/FiltersRegistry/master/filters/filter_3_Spyware/filter.txt These two links are very popular privacy protection lists, and we hope to use them in Firefox
