Right now, Thunderbird remembers the state (expanded or collapsed) of email account folder on the left pane. Allow an option to always start Thunderbird with them in collapsed state.
Right now, the counts for new emails is the cumulative total of what's in the inbox plus the spam and junk folders. Only allow the count for what's in the inbox ONLY.
