Status: New idea

My phone can take photos with up to 200 mega pixels, resulting in pictures up to 70MB in size. Even pictures with lower resolutions are still a few MB in size. I don't think it makes sense to attach them to an email. That's why I have a “photo reduction app” on my phone, which I have to select individually for each photo while attaching them. It would be nice if there was an option in K9 Mail to compress images while attaching them.

I heartily agree. Being a recent convert to Thunderbird Android (on Windows Thunderbird for forever but unaware until recently of the Android version), I miss the convenience of resizing that exists in the Android Email program.
