I use many filters in Thunderird, e.g. for marking a mail with a certain color. (status new = red, status not new = green, a.s.o.)  The problem is, when the mail status changes from new to not new (= read or answered, a.s.o.) the new status is in the second position and therefor not recognised of the program!  The color then is not changed yet! The new, actual status should be in the first position at all! Or, when there would be a option to cancel a old status (or a specific one or all old ones) that would be great!    Thanks for answering! Currently, Firefox Focus does not a) allow creating new tabs unless we i) open a link in new tab or ii) select a term from existing page to search in Firefox Focus and b) switch tabs when swiping on the address bar (unlike Firefox). Impact: navigating is cumbersome and have to forcefully search a term so a new tab opens up or switch tabs through multiple clicks. I will appreciate if my suggestion is considered. Thank you! ... I have set up containers to open my social media websites in a 'Social Media' container, automatically, through the 'always open this site in this container' dialog. This is great, and works like a charm for 99.99% of the times I want to open twitter, bluesky, etc. But every now and then I need to login to work related social media accounts, which I would like to open in my 'Work' container instead, so I can be logged into a different account. This is basically impossible at the moment. Manually opening it inside the work container means the 'Multi-Account Containers' plugin reloads it and opens it in my saved container, meaning it logs me into my personal accounts. There is no override option for the saved rule. I suggest adding a checkbox to the plugin settings, which restricts the automatic opening of websites in a container to tabs that are not opened in a container already. Perhaps 'Never open in assigned Container when already in a container' This will allow users to manually open a tab in a different container using the 'RMB > Open in New Container Tab', and means the default rule can be overridden, and does not fight the user whenever they specifically choose to have a tab be opened in a container, while allowing the automatic opening of tabs whenever they do not. ... Enabling an Assamese interface would demonstrate Firefox’s commitment to linguistic diversity and accessibility. Community Support: A dedicated group of volunteers from the Assamese Wikipedia and open‑source communities stands ready to assist with translation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Precedent: In the past, successful campaigns including those for languages such as Bengali and Odia have been driven by passionate user bases, resulting in official support and enhanced user engagement. It would be amazing if we could customize the home page to fit custom images now that they are allowed! Being able to move the search bar or icons to the sides or corners would make using wallpapers much more accessible and visually appealing, as the search bar often blocks key features of wallpapers. Being able to move them around to suit wherever would be best would be fantastic! I see there is already Stable, Beta, Developer Edition that actually uses the same version as Beta that can be confusing since it doesn't specify Developer Edition at all and uses same download package and then Nightly especially coming from who wants to have same Firefox browser after switching from Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, but with separate programs that has different tabs and not to break up program session like only one window each, not multiple windows under the same program executable. Only Stable and Beta is available when it comes to Microsoft Store. I would suggest to have more like different Firefox browser editions that works similar to Microsoft Edge Insider Channels like Stable, Beta, Dev and then Canary with different version numbers that makes more clear with different badges on taskbar icons to show which edition is used. ... Hi. It seems some of the extensions I use aren't ready for the update to Thunderbird 140. Unfortunately, Thunderbird didn't warn me about this before updating. I managed to update most of them, but it would be great if TB could check compatibility before the update. I assume this should be doable, since version compatibility is listed in the add-ons database and is already checked after the update. Otherwise, good work on the update – it looks nice 🙂 ...
