Agreed! the ability to synchronize scrolling will set apart Firefox's split view capability from the rest of the browsers now offering it. It would be very useful for comparing 2 documents side by side for changes/markups to only scroll one.
Hi! Thank you for your wonderful work! I really love the 'Split View' feature. My idea is that once you have added two tabs to Split View, you should be able to stick them together so that they scroll as a pair. This would be useful for comparing the content of both tabs. To achieve this, an option called 'Stick Tabs' could be added to the Split View menu.
I know what you mean, but the name could be confusing. Many text editors have this feature, and there it’s called “sync scrolling”. This is what i would be calling it here, too.
+1! I just came to submit this exact feature request, but you beat me to it. This would be incredibly useful when comparing user permissions on enterprise sites where user administration tools were written in 2005 (*cough cough, Amazon Seller Central, cough cough*).
