I find it very useful that Firefox (with regular updates frequency) is published on the Microsoft Store, it's actually the only major browser that is also provided as MSIX package in addition to traditional installers.

It would be nice considering adding Firefox ESR too for users who prefer less frequent updates and increased stability, similar to how both Thunderbird ESR and regular Thunderbird are now available on the Store.

Making moves

This is especially important given that Mozilla have decided to start experimenting with a 2 week release cycle for Firefox.

I'm sure that will be great for people who salivate at the idea of new features twice as often as the current cadence, but for more conservative users, having ESR on the Microsoft Store would help greatly.

The work has already been done once for the regular release channel, so I'm sure it won't be too much more work to set up another listing for ESR.
