By default, under Windows, the Firefox window is named "[Tab title] - [Profile name] - Mozilla Firefox [/ Mozilla Firefox private browsing]". Do you realize how easy it is to just catch the active window title for an external app? That's very compromising for user privacy, especially in private browsing. What if we could have options in the settings to display only:

  • "[Profile name] - Mozilla Firefox [private browsing]" -> e.g. "Shopping - Mozilla Firefox"
  • "Mozilla Firefox [private browsing]"
  • "[Domain name] - [Profile name] - Mozilla Firefox [private browsing]" -> e.g. "amazon.com - Shopping - Mozilla Firefox private browsing"
  • "[Number of open tabs] in [Profile name] - Mozilla Firefox [private browsing]" -> e.g. "7 tabs open in Shopping - Mozilla Firefox"
  • "[Tab title]" -> e.g. "Amazon.com. Spend less. Smile more."
