I would like an option where I can configure download folders according to file types. Something like all images go to the Pictures (or a predefined) folder, Music/Audio go to somewhere else, PDF and other documents go to a documents folder and the rest goes to a default folder (like Downloads) Now, if I do not pay attention (silly me), everything automatically goes to 'Downloads' or the last folder I picked. Hi, Presearch aims to become the first decentralised search engine that both rewards its users and respects their privacy, as opposed to Google. In 2021 Google was required to make Presearch a default option for all new Android devices in Europe and the UK to break its monopoly. It's a little bit distracting to read over these blue Hyperlinks in Readmode. Espacilly in Wikipedia Sites where every fifth word is a Hyperlink or any other Site that have many Hyperliks in their HTML. But when you want to see all the Hyperlinks, but like me not in this classy-style blue than recolor it with a preset color or a color of your choice. And when you don't want see any Hyperlinks disable them and they would look like normal text. Dear, Is it possible to develop a functionality, so that it is possible for each mail in the message list, to find all related messages (not only subconversations, but all mails from same sender throughout any mailbox), and this in one-click.  I suppose that this can be done by automating the search or filter functionality, but as a user now you always have to define your filter again. When connecting to a site, a lot of the TLS logic is in the background and not visible to the user. Mozilla should implement a policy that going forward, all TLS insights should be easily available to the user, and the browser shouldn't make any TLS operations that can't be verified. For example a user can never know if a site passed the CRLite check correctly. Was the OCSP live check passed? Was there a stapled OCSP response? This should be included in the security info pop-up from the address bar and should include the following info: status of all checks: - CRLite - Certificate Transparency log - live OCSP (online CA check) - stapled OCSP response other relevant info: - HSTS (and where this policy came from, i.e. the from the first visit or a preloaded list) - Public Key Pinning - any relevant DNS records that involve security This would fix issues like the following: why are some revoked certificates being allowed? - https://revoked-isrgrootx1.letsencrypt.org/ - https://revoked.badssl.com/ are both allowed when live OCSP checks fail or are disabled, but this is not obvious to the user that any checks failed - and presumably these certificates were not revoked with a CRL) - https://revoked.grc.com/ is correctly revoked even with a disabled live OCSP check (presumably because it is revoked with a CRL checked by CRLite? - again the user has no idea) ... Hi there. A small suggestion for Firefox Focus on iOS: Support for multiple tabs. In particular, I'm a big fan of the option that DuckDuckGo's iOS browser offers which allows a kind of slim horizontal tab view. I've attached a screenshot. It would make the browser a complete, but still sleek and minimalist, private alternative to Safari I think. I really don't think it needs anything other than that.   ... View more

Recently I have made the switch away from MS (OS and Outlook) 100% and and am on Ubuntu 22.04 (all latest patches and 5.19 kernel) and currently running latest Thunderbird beta 104.0b2. To be clear, I am NOT an email power user. I have three accounts and use them for nothing more than personal email and a single account for the calendar. What is bugging me is that "Mark as Read" is only an on/off config. Meaning, either it is marked when seen or a delay. However, when I forward and email or open the message in a new window, it does not mark the email as read. In each case I need to manually mark it as read.
