I have grocery, hardware store, things to take to or get out of a storage locker 17 miles away, and various lists written everywhere and anywhere. The times I've ended up in stores or in my storage locker without the danged lists are countless. The way Firefox Sync works makes me think a lightweight utility, perhaps an optional extension, would be a way to keep such lists across platforms within the Firefox browser, which I have on every device: Mac, Ubuntu, android (emoji of shame), and iPhone. I was trying to sign in to a website and a pop-up window appeared for my login. As per the title - give us the option to configure which sites appear and their order when the address bar is clicked. Right now it is my most visits, which is at least for me a pain to deal with. I dont often use new tab and when i do i use SpeedDial2 anyways, but having the sort of speed dial in the address bar is far more convenient (click address bar -> select website) than new tab (go click the new tab icon -> find the bookmark -> click it) ... When using the shortcut to access the history I don't get the same menu I get when accessing it clicking through the harmburger drop down. It's especially annoying when I'm accessing the history to retrieve closed tabs and windows, because they are unavailable in the shortcut menu. I was recently asked to complete a survey about the forthcoming Thundermail Pro service and realised that should have added an idea about integrating Firefox Relay. Since users will be able to use custom domains with Thundermail, it makes sense to offer integration with Firefox Relay. Users could either 1. Create Relay aliases like favouritecafe@mydomain.com or abcd1234@mydomain.com 2. Create a sub-domain Relay alias like favouritecafe@mail.mydomain.com or abcd1234@mail.mydomain.com Proton Pass let's you do option 2 and this works really well for me, but worth considering as Thundermail gets off the ground. Hello Thunderbird team, I would like to request an enhancement to the message list (thread pane) behavior in Thunderbird. Currently, when using “Group by sort”, Thunderbird uses a single column as both the grouping key and the sorting key. This creates a limitation when trying to organize emails efficiently. Use case Many users rely heavily on Tags (Labels) to classify emails (e.g. Personal, Client, Urgent, Invoices, etc.). What we would like to achieve is: Group messages by Tag Sort messages by Date/Time (descending) inside each group Keep everything inside the native Inbox message list (no alternative view, no external panel) Current limitation If we: Group by Tag → the chronological order inside each group becomes inconsistent Sort by Date → grouping by Tag is no longer possible There is currently no way to define: a grouping column AND a secondary sorting column This makes it impossible to have both: clean visual grouping (by tag) and correct chronological order (by date) Proposed improvement Introduce support for: Primary key: Group by column (e.g. Tag) Secondary key: Sort by another column (e.g. Date) This could be exposed as: “Group by: Tag” “Sort within groups by: Date (Descending)” This would: Greatly improve productivity for professional users Remove the need for workarounds (virtual folders, multiple inboxes, external views) Allow more advanced but still native inbox organization This request does not require UI scripting or message list injection — only better control over the grouping/sorting logic already present in Thunderbird. Hi, In Thunderbird, when I double-click an email attachment, it opens with the default application I've set for that file type. However, I'm unable to add new file types to this list (please see image). For example, I frequently receive .R and .Rmd files from students. I remember awhile back Firefox always had a "ask before downloading" setting in the settings. Now this no longer exist. This is such an easy way to get malware on your pc by sites auto trying to download stuff, and Firefox just immediately starts downloading without asking for permission from the user or giving any real warning. Why would you guys take features away with updates instead of adding new ones? I never understood this.. Please give us this simple common sensed setting back. ... View more

Dear Mozilla, This is a simple request from a fellow coder. The junk management on email never really gets everything right. As a user, I'd request that there is a way to do two things:  1) Run the mail message filters on the Junk folder, and 2) Have a simple email black-list to easily right-click > Add Email to Blacklist, so that predatory emails are kept from my kids!
