Please re-enable "ask before downloading" setting

I remember awhile back Firefox always had a "ask before downloading" setting in the settings. Now this no longer exist. This is such an easy way to get malware on your pc by sites auto trying to download stuff, and Firefox just immediately starts downloading without asking for permission from the user or giving any real warning. Why would you guys take features away with updates instead of adding new ones? I never understood this.. Please give us this simple common sensed setting back.
