Recently switched from Opera, and going back to Opera. My favorite feature was being able to close any tab I was hovering over by holding Alt and Left Clicking. No need to change primary tab, no need to navigate to a tiny "x" box, just alt and click. This feature is so integrated into my daily use now that not having it is a deal-breaker for me. As title says, the tab unloader should have an option to automatically suspend tabs based on inactivity time alone. I've found that the current unloader based on automatic memory usage estimate is kinda lackluster and it feels like often it simply doesn't work, an option to simply unload the tab after X minutes of inactivity would probably be better for most people. just like in chrome and edge, when a tab (e.g. where you are attending a meeting in g meet) is using both camera and mic, a red dot should appear. this makes it easier for users to know easily what devices are being used by the website in that tab. Thanks in advance. ... View more

Hi, I'd like to suggest an improvement for the "unload tabs" feature. Currently, when the browser is restarted, all tabs are fully loaded, even if they were unloaded in the previous session. Could the browser remember which tabs were unloaded? This would make the browser launch much faster and use less memory initially. ... View more

Hello! When you right-click a tab, you have "bookmark tab," "reload tab," "mute tab" and "close tab." Why not a "Previous page" or "Forward" option? Hello, I'm not saying I don't like the current Firefox design, but maybe some would like to be able to customize the tab bar/icon style/bookmark bar/context menu more than just light/dark and color/image. Maybe some would love a Chrome-like design or even an IE-like design. I use the pinned tabs feature frequently and find it very helpful. However, I've noticed that when I duplicate a pinned tab, the duplicated tab is not pinned - it appears as a regular tab. I think the duplicate function should create an exact copy of the original tab, including its pinned status. ... View more

Improve pinned tabs – after closing and reopening the browser, pinned tabs should automatically return to the original website that was pinned, just like in the Arc browser. For example, if you pin a tab with Google’s main search page and then enter a query in the search bar, you are redirected to the search results page. You might then click a link and navigate to another website. Currently, when you close and reopen the browser, the pinned tab stays on the last visited page. Please consider implementing a feature to transfer a tab group between profiles in Mozilla Firefox. The firefox version for android tablets has a very inaccessible user intreface. The interface should be very similar or identical to the desktop one. The full view of open browser tabs on the toolbar is missing. The interface looks like simply scaled down from the smartphone one: we have an address bar and next to it on the right an icon with a rectangle inside which a number indicating the number of open tabs. This is very inconvenient to use. Tablets usually have screens of 10-11 inches, tablets over 12 inches are becoming more and more popular. Hello! I hope that you are doing well. So, I recently switched back to firefox and wanted to use vertical tabs as I got used to it in the zen browser, and I wanted to support firefox as it's the only viable non-google browser in the market. But then I found that you have to manually click in order to collapse the vertical tabs and vice versa. In the Zen browser, which is still in beta, has a feature in which you just right click on any whitespace on the vertical tabs and enable compact mode. This adds a slide in and out functionality in which when you point your cursor near the left side or close to the vertical tabs, it automatically slides out and when I point the mouse away to the webpage it automatically collapses, thus providing more focus on the content and adding convenience rather than having to click on the collapse option in firefox. Implement a toggleable option to make the search widget on mobile open a separate instance dedicated for that search, or a tab that closes itself after closing the app. (meaning the firefox app needing to be for example, cleared from the open apps tab present on the majority of android phones) This feature would be intended for quick searches that dont need to linger on open tabs, much like the current search widget for the google app on android. ... Would it be possible to have an option to stop Thunderbird 'opening' more than one email? Or at least stop it happening on a double click or 'enter'? This is something I never want to to, and end up frequently doing unintentionally. I often select multiple emails, e.g. to delete, move, or mark, and I sometimes end up with them all opening in separate tabs or windows.  This is possibly partly due to an old mouse that generates unintended double clicks when I click an email to add. It's also possibly partly due to my Parkinson's. The consequence of this can be painful if I've selected dozens of emails. Thunderbird grinds to a halt, and getting rid of all the tabs can be a little time-consuming as I have to either individually delete them, or 'close other', and restore the tabs I want. ... in Firefox Focus, there is an option to close other tabs when you access the tab list. my only problem with this feature is that it's placed inside of the tab list, which has lead to me accidentally clearing other tabs -- something that isn't very welcome in a browser where I can open them back up again. the best solutions I can think of are an option in settings to disable the button and/or an option to add a confirmation when tapping it. also just want to extend a little thank you to the Firefox focus team! setting it as my default browser basically cured my internet browser screentime and I'm very grateful for the app! ...
