Hi, I'd like to suggest an improvement for the "unload tabs" feature. Currently, when the browser is restarted, all tabs are fully loaded, even if they were unloaded in the previous session. Could the browser remember which tabs were unloaded? This would make the browser launch much faster and use less memory initially. ... View more

Exactly like the title says. The issue: I have many bookmarks and sometimes the site I bookmarked doesn't exist anymore/it redirects to another page so if I want to remove the bookmark I have to scroll through the entire long list in the folder and then delete it because the original link doesn't exist and I can't just open and unbookmark from the 'original page'. You would think you could just use the search fuction in bookmarks and then see the one you want to delete and press hold to delete or edit/press the three vertical dots for options but it doesn't even exist. ... Hello Mozilla Community,   I’m working on a multilingual accessibility project called QashqAI Voice, aimed at preserving endangered dialects and supporting blind users through real-time voice AI. We are using GitHub Pages to deploy voice-enabled tools for visually impaired communities across rural regions.   However, Firefox currently blocks autoplay of audio on GitHub Pages even when it’s the only way blind users can hear the content. I just updated Firefox to v.140, and now it takes FOUR CLICKS where it should be one: Suppose you enter a text (to search) into the Search field of New Page. (That's how I do my searches usually). => By default, it gets my default search engine's ("DuckDuckGo") prefix. To use a different Search Engine (which I need very often: Wikipedia, UrbanDictionary, etc etc): Click "x" to remove the "DuckDuckGo" prefix. Click the drop-down button ("v") of the search menu. Click the search engine I want to use. Click"Right Arrow" to start the search. So it's 4 clicks where it should be one: Click the icon of the search engine at the bottom of the search suggestions (like they were shown in earlier versions). -> Have the search running. I think it would be great if Mozilla were to create a communication app of the sort of Skype, Teams, Whatsapp, but something more like Firefox and Thunderbird: that is, user-friendly, simple, effective, reliable and protected from outside attack. I recently downloaded the Thunderbird app to my phone and have been delighted at how easy that was, and how well it works WITHOUT any special knowledge or behaviors. With the most recent update (I forget when it rolled out, but likely 26/06/25), I have noticed the lack of the Favorite star icon on the search bar, at least when searching through Google. I was someone who made use of that feature quite a lot and so, it miffs me a bit that the icon was obscured and replaced by some sort of globe for "Show the address in the Location Bar" (Which is another change that is a little odd, but understandable). I am aware you are still able to Favorite search results by right-clicking the tab, but why omit the Favorite star icon at all? Both being there would work, just like how in websites, both the Favorite star icon and Read-only Mode page icons are visible. If anything, it would be more consistent that way. ... View more

Request to display the full URL text for link previews, instead of only the top level domain / subdomain. [connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/idb-p/ideas] vs. [connect.mozilla.org] Previously, long tapping on a link would display both a visual preview of the page (with option to disable link previews in settings) and the full link URL text, in addition to the options to open the link in a new tab, bookmark the link, etc.  Please add back the full text of URLs when long pressing on a link on iOS. Make it easier to hide the share button in the address bar in Firefox on Android. Together with reader mode and the translate button (if available) there is almost no space left for the address itself. Moving all three buttons to the menu (or at least the share button) would help a lot. ... View more
