Title: "With years of experience with Windows, what I miss about Microsoft Edge that Firefox should have on Linux"
Yes, it seems unbelievable, but if there's one thing I miss about Microsoft Edge, I wish Firefox had on Linux. What is it? I'll tell you...
What I miss is when you open multiple tabs and you're working in one for a certain amount of time, Microsoft Edge disables or suspends the tabs you're not using. Believe me, that helps a lot by reducing system resources (hardware in particular). If, in addition to the new Firefox features of recent days, they added that feature, Firefox would be the King of Internet search engines, at least on Linux.
So, I'm going to see how I can get them to listen to me, and if they want to... Microsoft has been a copycat throughout its history. Not even the fundamental idea of Windows was its own. MS-DOS was bought from someone else, and the whole user interface thing was copied from Xerox. 🫤
