Hello everyone,
I recently discovered that the saved password in Firefox is actually VERY weak. Let me explain : in Chrome, everytime we need to use a saved password, it asks us to use TouchID or the password of the open session on MacOS. I find it very nice for password protection. The issue with the actual protection on Firefox is that the passwords are actually only protected when we start the browser or if we go to the saved password menu. Not only there is no verification to use a saved password, but because of that, someone who access the computer just need to press the "reveal password" button to see what it's like, without needing to use the Firfox Password protection.
I don't know if I'm the only one in this situation but since I mainly use Firefox, I would be reassured to have this feature in the next Firefox updates 🙂
Best regards,
