I like to organize my tabs into groups. Usually, I research an idea outside of a tab group (opening tabs to the far right of the tab bar) before right clicking the tabs I've opened and adding them to their appropriate tab group. This is to clean up my tab bar. When the tabs go the the group, though, it unfolds the tab group. I just want to stash away those tabs and not use the group anymore. Thus, I have to click the tab group rectangle so that it refolds. Please add an option in about:config or in the settings menu that toggles whether this unfolding behavior happens. Go firefox! ... Thunderbird for desktop should also support tags without a color (ie transparent). You can apply multiple tags to a message, and then the message on the list is displayed in the color of the first tag alphabetically. Eg if you tag a message as 'Later' (say, yellow) and 'Travel' (say, orange), the message will appear in yellow, but you may want 'Travel' to be the dominant tag. Currently, I would rename 'Later' as 'zLater' to make sure it is listed last and deprioritised, but it gets more complicated when you want to apply several tags to a message.  A transparent 'Later' could be applied without affecting the display color, but 'Later' could still be used in filtering rules etc.              ... It doesn't feel right when I resize the Thunderbird's window, almost everything and more obvioulsy the messages list pane will be resized in a way that is totally counter-intuitive. It almost always needs to be adjusted. I think, either the proportion of the resizing of all pane should be look for better reactions; or, only the message's content view pane should be resized and the rest stay untouched. After using Quick filter and "display in list" the folder pane is not visible anymore. Maybe someone wants to move the filtered e-mails into a folder by dragging the e-mails to that folder. Before commenting: - I am aware of the "rightclick -> move"-function but it is not intuitive; - I get no results if I just use the quick filter alone and it displays "press enter to look further", no mather with buttons I press (and another tip of mine was to make it visible on the buttons if you have pressed "contact" or not. ... Dear Thunderbird Team, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a suggestion that could improve the usability of Thunderbird’s calendar feature. It would be extremely helpful to have an option to filter and display only the appointments that have been shared with me — not all calendar entries. I would love Firefox to include an option that automatically hides the entire top part of the browser — including the tab bar, address bar, and buttons — and only shows it again when the mouse hovers over the upper edge of the window. This would allow users to enjoy a clean, distraction-free experience, similar to fullscreen mode but without hiding the operating system’s taskbar or requiring F11. The idea is simple: When the user activates “Minimal Mode,” the top UI area hides automatically. When moving the mouse to the top edge, the bars reappear smoothly. When the mouse leaves, they auto-hide again. This would be especially useful for laptops and small screens, giving more space to web content while keeping the browser controls accessible when needed. The purpose of this would be to highlight the last email that I was looking at, rather than the last one I double-clicked. As things are now, the last email I double-clicked, rather than the last one I looked at, is highlighted. To keep the present functionality intact, a solution is to add an entry to the email tab's right-click menu that says something like "Display email in list". That would then open a tab displaying the email's account in the usual way (if one is not already open - no duplicates, please), with the email highlighted and the list scrolled so that the highlighted email is visible, say, fifth from the top (this would be configurable). ... Can you please add functionality that enables searches on Mozilla Connect to be easily filtered by product. When searching for ideas, i'm only looking for results that are associated with Thunderbird for Android. Currently search returns matches from all products including Thunderbird Desktop. Drag and drop images is a new feature missing in Firefox but in all other browsers this features is availabile, so the feature is basically you can drag and drop any images from one app to another app you can check it out feature in other browser by holding the images you can drop in any other app this feature is very helpful for tablets and in studying I hope you will put this feature in Firefox as soon as possible, I am waiting for this feature 😀 ... It should be able to change the content of an e-mail to the same view as the list van e-mails. See the red circle in the picture of where I would like to read the e-mails. You click once on the e-mail (or twice if it really needs to be twice) and then you can see the whole e-mail. With displaying the e-mail beneath (by pressing F8) you cannot read more than 2 lines of the e-mail.... So I no longer have the e-mail displayed beneath the list now (F8). Yesterday I found the shortcut F for displaying the next e-mail :-). For moving an e-mail to another folder I want to see the folder pane. Are you gonna need another shortcut for that or are you just gonna make it able to display the e-mail in the view where the list is? Please??      o ... View more

All the buttons in the filter bar always look the same (and to distracting). For instance, I cannot see the difference in the button itself between button "labels" pressed or not pressed. I don't see a blue line! Specially with the first button is hard to notice the difference. ... View more

I would like to suggest a feature for the bookmark toolbar. I heavily use the bookmark toolbar for all my bookmarked sites and have it set to always shown. Would it be possible to have different bookmark toolbars for different uses? It would be great if I could have a toolbar for personal use and a toolbar for work as well as just the option to have a few different bars to flick through. If implemented properly, it could be also set to flick through multiple toolbars almost carousel style, allowing further customisation and having bars for different use cases the user comes up with. Previously, when I clicked the URL bar it would show my shortcuts/new tab Page, now it only shows a drop down of recent searches, not very useful. iirc opening a new tab has also recently changed so it is now even more steps to navigate to my common pages. ... View more
