After using Quick filter and "display in list" the folder pane is not visible anymore

After using Quick filter and "display in list" the folder pane is not visible anymore. Maybe someone wants to move the filtered e-mails into a folder by dragging the e-mails to that folder.

Before commenting:
- I am aware of the "rightclick -> move"-function but it is not intuitive;
- I get no results if I just use the quick filter alone and it displays "press enter to look further", no mather with buttons I press (and another tip of mine was to make it visible on the buttons if you have pressed "contact" or not.

Where does 'display in list' come from? I don't see it using Quick Filter.

You have to press enter after searching with the quick filter. Appearantly that is called "global search". It seems that I have an old version of Xubuntu. I am gonna install a new version and test all my tips and questions with this version..
