In vertical display layout, all pane dimensions should be locked, and only the size of the message view pane should follow the resizing of the window

It doesn't feel right when I resize the Thunderbird's window, almost everything and more obvioulsy the messages list pane will be resized in a way that is totally counter-intuitive. It almost always needs to be adjusted. I think, either the proportion of the resizing of all pane should be look for better reactions; or, only the message's content view pane should be resized and the rest stay untouched. It always react differently, that's odd!
