When new unread mail arrives in a folder, Thunderbird turns the folder-name and unread-mails count to Blue. However, this indication does not survive a restart, so if a folder currently has new unread mail and TB is restarted (or for instance a Windows restart occurs) then the folder remains unmarked. Could the "new unread mail" status be preserved so that the indication is shown when TB restarts? I'd suggest that no "new unread mail" should remain unmarked, "new unread mail from previous sessions" be marked in one colour and "new unread mail in this session" be marked in another. My preferences would be black, turquoise and hot pink for these three states. Others would inevitably disagree, so a simple colour-select facility (possibly via config) would be desirable ... Hi, I've been using your new Japanese translation feature a lot lately. It's a great, great feature, congratulations on developing this. But, It's annoying that I have to confirm the popup every time I want to enable translation. I don't know why. I mainly translate from one language to my own. The "automatically translate" feature doesn't work for me either; I need to see the original text first. I just need an "on/off" button in the address bar or a shortcut. That's all. Instead of shoving so called AI tools in Firefox, I would love a feature that can detect AI content, whether in text or in media (audio, image, video). Right click a text selection, an image or a video and select "Is it AI?". A popup appears and gives an answer. You could also add this feature to Thunderbird. ... View more

Make it easier to hide the share button in the address bar in Firefox on Android. Together with reader mode and the translate button (if available) there is almost no space left for the address itself. Moving all three buttons to the menu (or at least the share button) would help a lot. ... View more

sometimes I find myself in the possition that I want to place some extra, personell text in an incomming mail.  not just a lablecolor but a real piece of text.  To place text in the header of an e-mail, it should be nice to have the possibility to have an extra collumn wherein the text can be put.  I think that when te mail is opened, the add-on xnote++ will do, but thats more like a post-it instead of writing something between the lines...... best regards Raoul Fransen Minderhout Belgium ... With RAM prices being ridiculous high at the moment it would be nice to look for other options Many people who have bought more expensive notebooks have dedicated GPUs, but most of the time you are not using this GPU and the VRAM connected to it. There are usually many Gigabytes of VRAM available. It is easy to read and write to VRAM using the OpenCL interface supported by every dedicated GPU. As of 12/9/25, Firefox seems to now prevent Theme add-ons from working if there is a contrast setting configured in Windows configuration. (Version 146.0) Previously, this allowed a very aesthetically pleasing view. I would greatly enjoy having that option again. Thank you. If I wish to search for the word "coffee" only in the months between Feb 2023 and June 2023, between the hours of 14.00 - 16.30, on the websites "coffeelover.com" and "coffeematch.org", then I should be able to. Furthermore, after I search for content, there should be a right click option which says "show search result in full context" which will then bring me to where that search result is in the full unfiltered list of search results. On Windows systems, when using Alt+Tab to preview windows, hovering the mouse over a window only highlights it without actually changing the position of the focus ring. However, in Firefox, when the mouse hovers over a tab, the focus ring moves to that tab, which is inconsistent with the system's Alt+Tab behavior in Windows and feels somewhat unfamiliar to use. I suggest adding a toggle option to disable the effect of mouse hover position on the focus ring, so that tabs only switch when clicked. When enabling the "Select Message" option a square is shown to the left of the messages.  By selecting on the square, each message will stay selected.  They do not have to adjacent to each other.  The problem is that if you miss the square, all selected messages become unselected.  It would be useful if the messages would be selected if the line was selected (or at least the message itself).  Basically, make the option more forgiving if you don't exactly select the square. ... Hi, When I click on "View recent browsing across windows and devices", the "View recent browsing across windows and devices" opens as expected. When I press the same icon again, the window stays open, which is annoying considering that the rest of the options close when I click second time on their corresponding icon. Can you make the "View recent browsing across windows and devices" close when I click on its icon twice? This behavior will be consistent with the other Firefox UI elements as well. ... View more
