As far as I understand, tabs are like bookmarks with session data. You save bookmarks because you have visited a page and you want to get back to it in the future, so why do not save also its session, like it was a tab? Tabs management, with dropdown lists and sublists (like in menus and submenus) is MUCH more comfortable than a long horizontal list of scrolling tabs; tab groups are not sufficient to put order. If needed, opening an existing tab as it was a bookmark could be achieved through pressing SHIFT or CTRL while clicking. There could be an option to automatically group consecutive tabs referring to the same URL and another option to highlight non-consecutive tabs referring to the same URL. User could have to chance to specify a default container for all tabs in a certain submenu, which would be very confortable because containers tend to correspond to bookmark submenus. In version 146.0, when a tab already exists, clicking a website directly from the bookmarks would open a new tab and navigate to it. However, in the new version, it navigates to the new website from the current tab without opening a new one. I think the design in version 146.0 is more reasonable, and I hope this feature can be retained, or at least users can choose whether to enable it in the settings. I’m using Firefox’s native vertical tabs (no extensions). While the feature itself is very useful, the tabs visually blend together: there are no clear borders, separators. This makes navigation harder compared to horizontal tabs or vertical tab solutions in other browsers. It would be great to have built-in options such as: – separators or borders between vertical tabs – spacing or grouping controls This would significantly improve usability without requiring userChrome.css customization. Add an option to the tab context menu that lets users copy the direct URL of the tab without switching to it. I've noticed that I quite frequently need to copy links from multiple (or even all) tabs. Currently, it's only possible to do that manually by going through each tab and copying the URL from the URL bar. There is a feature of copying the link of a tab through right-click -> "Share" -> "Copy Link" but it only copies a single link when multiple tabs are selected. It would be great if this feature would copy the links of all selected tabs. It could even apply to all "Share" options - "AirDrop", "Mail", etc. The link could be separate by comma or a new-line. ... View more

In Opera, if two tabs with the same URL are opened, they are marked with a blue line when you hover your mouse over one of the two tabs. This is very useful because it allows you to identify whether you have opened two tabs that are actually the same. ... View more

Many users struggle with Firefox gradually consuming a lot of RAM after keeping multiple tabs open for long browsing sessions, especially on mid-range laptops and low-memory devices.
