Status: New idea

I'm starting a new thread because the other ideas don't seem to be the same as mine.
I love Opera's tab grouping feature: when I click on a link in a tab, a group of tabs is automatically created. This allows me to keep all my work well organised and divided up.

I tried it by installing Opera quickly, basically, it seems that when you click on a link in a web page that opens in a new tab, the new tab gets grouped alongside the originating tab.

Here, from example.org, I clicked "Learn more" with the middle mouse button to open it in a new tab. The blue tab group gets created.

Then, I opened Wikipedia in a new tab and did the same on a link there. The new tab gets grouped alongside the Wikipedia's home page in a new red group.

This looks to me like a very nice feature to have, so that when you're doing some work (like researching something, booking some hotel, etc) where you need to open many tabs, it helps you getting it more cleanly organized.

When hovering a tab group, a little circle is shown. If you hover that circle, it transforms into a plus button to allow you to open a tab inside that existing group.
