Improve visual separation for native vertical tabs

I’m using Firefox’s native vertical tabs (no extensions).
While the feature itself is very useful, the tabs visually blend together:
there are no clear borders, separators.

This makes navigation harder compared to horizontal tabs or vertical tab solutions in other browsers.

It would be great to have built-in options such as:
– separators or borders between vertical tabs
– spacing or grouping controls

This would significantly improve usability without requiring userChrome.css customization.
