That would allow me (and many others I guess) to get rid of those endless tabs sequence and give order to the sites I want to access mantaining the state of my last visit.

As far as I understand, tabs are like bookmarks with session data. You save bookmarks because you have visited a page and you want to get back to it in the future, so why do not save also its session, like it was a tab? Tabs management, with dropdown...
