Many users struggle with Firefox gradually consuming a lot of RAM after keeping multiple tabs open for long browsing sessions, especially on mid-range laptops and low-memory devices. Over time, inactive tabs continue holding memory even when they’re not being used, which slows down the browser and sometimes causes system lag. A helpful improvement would be an automatic memory recovery feature that temporarily unloads long-idle tabs while keeping their session state intact, similar to tab hibernation. This would improve performance, reduce crashes on low-RAM systems, and create a smoother experience for users who multitask with many tabs.

I really agree with this suggestion. The memory buildup from long browsing sessions is something I’ve noticed too, especially when I keep 20–30 tabs open for work. Even when I’m not actively using most of them, Firefox still feels slower over time and sometimes my laptop fan ramps up because of high RAM usage. A smart tab hibernation or memory-reclaim feature would definitely help, as long as it restores the tab instantly when clicked so the workflow isn’t interrupted. This could be a great balance between performance and multitasking, especially for users on lower-spec systems.

Good suggestion. Long sessions tend to make the browser slower and chug RAM like crazy until you restart the browser itself. I keep around 20 tabs open usually and after a while the usage becomes crazy, even spiking in CPU usage in most cases, whereas that doesn't happen on other chromium browsers.

Firefox really needs smarter tab hibernation, especially for users running multiple tabs for long sessions. On low-RAM systems, the slowdown becomes noticeable fast. An auto memory recovery system would make multitasking much smoother, whether someone’s researching, working, or even switching between heavy pages and something lighter like checking guides for Shadow Fight 2 special edition APK. Small optimization like this could massively improve overall stability and user experience.

I was actually reading about how Firefox can start consuming a lot of RAM when multiple tabs stay open for long browsing sessions, especially on mid-range laptops and low-memory devices. It makes a lot of sense because inactive tabs still keep holding memory in the background, which eventually slows everything down and can even cause system lag or crashes. A feature like automatic memory recovery or smart tab hibernation would really improve this situation by temporarily unloading idle tabs while still preserving their session state. That kind of optimization would make multitasking much smoother for users who rely on keeping many tabs open at once.

In a similar way, I’ve found tools like the NHS Take Home Pay Calculator really helpful because they simplify something that usually feels heavy and confusing, just like browser memory issues. Instead of manually figuring out deductions like tax, pension, and insurance, the calculator gives a clear breakdown of actual monthly earnings, which helps with real-life planning and reduces uncertainty.

Also, the NHS Statutory Maternity Pay Calculator is another useful example of how simplifying complex calculations can really improve user experience. Whether it’s managing finances or improving system performance like in browsers, having tools that reduce complexity and save time makes a big difference in everyday usability.

Many gamers usually keep several tabs open at the same time — gameplay videos, weapon upgrade guides, and Shadow Fight 2 download pages. During long browsing sessions, Firefox starts consuming a huge amount of RAM, which can cause lag while gaming or even freeze low-end systems. A smart memory auto-recovery feature would be a great improvement because inactive tabs could be paused automatically without closing them completely. This would help users enjoy smoother multitasking, especially those who frequently browse gaming content and APK resources.
