Firefox Android's toolbar can now only choose between the top and bottom, but I prefer to be in the middle, and I feel that the toolbar is more reasonable and user-friendly in the middle. Because when I hold my phone with one hand, my thumb is in the middle of the screen, and if the toolbar is in the middle of the screen, it's quicker when I want to click on the search bar

Hi, Firefox is a really great browser, I use it since the 90s when it was called Netscape, but I think the Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu, Homepage settings, Shortcuts and Firefox Sync needs an overhaul. Bookmarks on Firefox Desktop and Mobile is cluttered, e.g. on Firefox Mobile(Android/iOS) it requires 4 taps to dive into the Bookmark entries of Bookmarks Toolbar synced(from Firefox Desktop), that's really cumbersome. Quick raw ideas... Refactor and rename the "Bookmarks Toolbar" to "Shortcuts", adopt the current Shortcuts design, and make it also accessible on Firefox Mobile. Refactor and rename the "Bookmarks Menu" to simply to "Bookmarks", and make it also accessible on Firefox Mobile. Firefox Desktop and Firefox Mobile should use the same new Shortcuts and Bookmarks structure, and point each to the same counterpart location for cross Desktop and Mobile compatibility. On top of that, it would be great to have a "one tap/click" icon solution to access the Bookmarks on Firefox Desktop and Mobile. It would be great to be able to set the new Shortcuts as Homepage, to open it on existing and new Tabs It would be great to be able to have a non-row-limited scroll-able Shortcuts entry support on Firefox Mobile and Desktop. The new Bookmarks and Shortcuts should support add/edit/delete and ascending/descending/manual(dragdrop) sorting of entries, and also continue to support sub-folders for power users. Mozilla Sync should be adapted to sync between the new equal and counterpart location of Shortcuts(ex. Bookmarks Toolbar) and Bookmarks(ex. Bookmark Menu) between Firefox Mobile and Desktop.

I have been a fan of firefox, and was introduced to it after I switched to Linux. I resently installed firefox on my android mobile and was stuck by a particular bug or UI issue, whenever the toolbar is set to bottom and you search for something. Everything goes fine. Then you open a website. Now, here if you click on the toolbar(say you want to copy the url) the background(meaning space apart from keyboard and toolbar) is set to the firefox homepage which looks jerky as well as not good. A better way would have been if on clicking the toolbar the site you are currently in should be used as a dynamic(meaning still scrollable after toolbar is in focus and keyboard is open) background. See this is what I mean to say (https://i.imgur.com/IRMF3hq.mp4)

HTML support needs to be added to composition in K-9 mail/Thunderbird android, to allow text formatting, changing fonts, text colours, strike-through, bold and everything else that would be possible from added html support in the compose window. Also, allowing HTML in the signature would be useful. I'm surprised this hasn't already been added

Some people don't use Google services and don't want to use fdroid or alike on Android systems, there should be an official updater app provided on the Mozilla Firefox website for easy updates on the browser.

(Feature) When are we going to get TTS read aloud feature for firefox mobile browsers like desktop? Moreover, you cannot have more fonts options, text size is missing, voices are missing (I have more voices downloaded on my devices but it reads only default that comes when windows is first installed), linux TTS doesnt work. Chrome mobile and edge both desktop and mobile has this feature up and running. I would like a way to allow us to trust a user CA for certain sites at least. Or maybe even self signed keys for particular pages more permanently.
Since android 14 you can no longer add a CA to system certificate settings only user. Making it nearly impossible to trust my own CA from Firefox. All my internal sites I have to trust the page each time I visit it.

Please add an option to do Anything else with the download complete popup on Firefox Android. Or at least reduce its size by at least 75%. While I would prefer to just disable it completely, it could be resized, on a timer, a small slide in side banner, anything as long as it wasnt so intrusive. As it stands right now, it is more invasive on my screen than any ad that I see beyond the sudden full screens from games... But I also have an ad blocker so that part might be a little misleading..

With Firefox for Android it is not possible to enter addresses of websites that are excluded from the automatic deletion of cookies. Please add this option as with Firefox for Windows! Only when that has happened can I give Firefox 5 stars again.

I have always standard my vpn connected to a server but for some apps on my mobile i need to be connected to a other server. And that takes time and sometimes i forget to switch it to the other server or switch it back to the standard server. It should be nice that if i start a app up it will automatically change to the recommended server you gave and if you don't gave a recommended server it will just take the server that you have standard on.

Hello, If you search a bookmark without browsing among all bookmarks, folder by folder, the three points to the right are not shown, so you cannot edit it. I propose to show those three points also when you write partially the name of the web in the cases they are flagged with the blue star in the left. The same when you use the magnifier in bookmarks. Many thanks,

Dear Mozilla Team, I am a regular user of the Firefox Android app and I would like to request a feature enhancement. Currently, whenever you highlight text and then click on copy, all of the highlighted text disappears. This makes it difficult to verify if the text has been successfully copied. I kindly request that you consider adding a feature where the highlighted text remains visible after clicking on copy, allowing users to easily verify the copied text. This small but significant improvement would greatly enhance the user experience and make the text copying process more seamless. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your continuous efforts in improving the Firefox browser, and I believe that this enhancement would be a valuable addition for many users. _______________________________________ List of Possible Benefits: 1. Improved user experience 2. Enhanced text copying process 3. Reduced uncertainty when copying text 4. Easier verification of copied text 5. Seamless text highlighting and copying 6. Right now, to clear website data and other cached content you have to go to tap on
Hamburger > Settings > scroll to locate and tap Data Management > Tap Clear Private Data > Then tap Website Data > Clear Website Data
To get back to using FF you have to tap
< Back (top left)
<Settings (top left)
Done (top right)
Adding the Erase (trash) button from Firefox Focus to clear all website and cached data for all tabs in the full featured FireFox Mobile browser would be very helpful. Users with multiple open tabs still want to 'clear' cached info after opening up a shared URL. With FF set as default browser in iOS, you have to do this every time users check and close a shared link to sites like FB, IG, LI, Google while keeping other tabs for future use (i.e. parked for later).
