Support Firefox to be able to use different tab view modes on different windows! For example, two Firefox windows on different monitors, in my situation below: - One on a 1920*1080 hori screen, with vertical tab sidebar disabled - One on a 1080*1920 vert screen, with vertical tab sidebar enabled for this window only in this case. Please allow the option of stripping out most of the headers from an email so that it looks similar to a "replied to" email. Instead of the message subject starting "Re:", it could start as "Fwd:", plus the "From:", "To:", "Subject:" and "cc" lines could also be included. When I forward an email, all of the headers are included at the start of the email. This confuses people who don't know what the headers mean, and I've had friends delete the email assuming it is spam. Make it easier to hide the share button in the address bar in Firefox on Android. Together with reader mode and the translate button (if available) there is almost no space left for the address itself. I'm personally a heavy tab user but have always wondered why there is almost no support for tab grouping or customization in the native tab bar in Firefox. I think making it able to group like Google Chrome does for example or at least giving more access for extensions and add-ons would significantly improve the UI in that regard. ... View more

Firefox Color doesn't let me modify my current theme, and the only way I've found was through creating a custom .css file and modifying the appropriate elements there. It's way too complicated.   I'm often going through mails and deciding to delete or archive one after another. Since I can delete them with backspack or del thats fine but theres no hint on hovering over the archive button on it having a keyboard combo to activate. What really bugs me is that I often click archive on one mail after another and then suddenly the buttons change. I understand that different kind of mail offer different kind of actions but this is really annoying for me and I would love the default buttons always stay in the same place for consistency. Not sure if this qualifies as bug report or if it is a feature request to revert back the re-positioning of the pin icon on shortcuts in the New Tab Page since FF139. The new position in the top left corner of the shortcut image is more than ugly and does not have any obvious benefits over its previous position in front of the shortcut name. Hello! I hope that you are doing well. So, I recently switched back to firefox and wanted to use vertical tabs as I got used to it in the zen browser, and I wanted to support firefox as it's the only viable non-google browser in the market. But then I found that you have to manually click in order to collapse the vertical tabs and vice versa. In the Zen browser, which is still in beta, has a feature in which you just right click on any whitespace on the vertical tabs and enable compact mode. This adds a slide in and out functionality in which when you point your cursor near the left side or close to the vertical tabs, it automatically slides out and when I point the mouse away to the webpage it automatically collapses, thus providing more focus on the content and adding convenience rather than having to click on the collapse option in firefox. I'm a mac user, and I've used css to make my new tab page transparent like in Safari. The only way I could figure it out is: #tabbrowser-tabpanels { background: transparent !important; } But this makes the background transparent on websites that don't have a set background card/colour too. Is there a way I can isolate this to just the new tab page, or could this possibly be something we could change in about:config in future? I love the toolbar transparency. Thanks for what you do! ... I use tab groups in the vertical arrangement with no labels showing. I love it, the greatest feature in years. However: When collapsing a tab group the tab button gets ghosted, i.e., colors are inverted, and it's outlined. After using this feature since the very first day it got released, a subconscious part of my brain is still unable to understand that this button isn't the currently active page. It just looks like it, whereas the design of the real one is very inconspicuous and doesn't draw as much attention to it. Could we have an option, where the tab group button doesn't get inverted when closed? Or any other way of improving distinguishability? I know that's complaining on a high level. My idea is to adapt the design to the new iOS 26 interface and make a lot of transparent objects with cool animations. To please the audience that wants to use the previous design (i.e. the one that is now), make it possible to change designs in the "appearance" column. P.s. the new design is also nice, but I want to continue using only firefox, not safari. On mobile, under the three dots -> Customize Homepage you see a bunch of boring toggles that require closing the menu entirely to see your changes, then making you go all the way back. I propose that the Customize Homepage will enter a "wiggle mode", where sections are draggable or removable and changes are more easy to see as they can be viewed from exactly where you'd see them rather than through a boring menu. ... When the sidebar expand on hover option is turned on, the 'X' to close tabs appears at the end of the tab title, this means after hovering on the left you have to move your mouse all the way to the right to close the tab, if you go too far, the sidebar collapses meaning yhou have to try again.
