I appreciate your recent innovation in integrating an AI sidebar on Firefox desktop. I would like to request that this feature be extended to Firefox for Android as well.

Given the increasing reliance on AI tools, having an AI assistant sidebar on mobile would greatly enhance productivity and user experience. Bringing this feature to Android would reinforce Firefox’s leadership in user-focused, privacy-respecting innovation.

Thank you for considering this request.

If this is accepted, please make it an option rather than imposed.  I do not use AI and do not intend to!

Yeah it needs to be implemented in Firefox Android too.

Can't we have one decent browser without AI slop added to it? We don't need Firefox to go down hill because of tech bros current obsession with this AI bs. Keep AI out of Firefox.

There should simply be an option to turn the AI sidebar on or off in Firefox for Android. Those who don’t want it can keep it off, and those who find it useful can enable it. That way, everyone’s preference is respected without forcing AI features on users. At the same time, an AI sidebar is needed in the era of the AI revolution for those who wish to benefit from these tools.

Thank you Shriradhakrish, that is exactly what I would like

No one benefits from FIrefox adding a sidebar for a program that wrecks the environment and uses other people's intellectual property to make things up. If you want a LLM then go download one of the many versions available out there. Firefox does not need one.
