The mute icon (i.e. speaker) is useful but its location on the tab is causing some people to accidentally mute tabs. Currently there is some free clickable space on both sides of the icon, but it would make more sense to have a wider continuous free area on the tab. To achieve this IMO ideally the icon should be at the right end of the tab to the left of x. This is where the icon was always located in previous versions of Firefox about 4 years ago. First, thank you Firefox developers for the awesome vertical tabs feature. I think it works pretty well, but I do think some improvements could make the experience a little more polished. 1. When I restart Firefox it keeps the same session/tabs (I have the option enabled in the settings), and they load in a disabled/unloaded state until I click on them. This is nice, however, there's no visual indication of this. It would be nice to have those tabs slightly grayed out or less saturated so the user can tell a given tab is loaded or unloaded. It would also be nice if you could manually unload tabs via right click. 2. Another QoL feature is being able to copy the urls of selected tabs instead of having to do it individually. v136 introduced dynamically-expanding tab sizes on tabs with audio. This can be laggy though, as a page loads and the video/audio starts playing, causing misclicks. The tabs will also then shrink back down eventually once the audio's been idle for awhile, which can be visually distracting. There's some kind of thing that can be done with userchrome.css, but this is a workaround that's not viable for most users. The current implementation with hiding tabs after two weeks is a good thought, but since the tabs are still shown as 'open/active' in the tab counter, it always displays a ∞ symbol for me, which makes me feel like a tab hoarder. 😔 Please remove the hidden tabs from the tab counter so they can live their quiet life until I bring them back or they get closed. Also it would be great with more options for auto closing apps after 2 or 3 weeks. See my other suggestion about this. ... View more

The History / Library window has a large, unnecessarily unused portion of the window - the space is wasted, and would serve the user better if available to list additional history / search results. The reader mode function is really great and helpful, and the read aloud feature helps me stay focused with longer texts, but I keep getting annoyed by how the window that appears to control/pause the TTS is placed over the top of the text itself. I'm a longtime user of Firefox Android. I use it while logged in to my Mozilla account. I recently changed the email on my account from a short email address to a longer one. I was surprised to see that, as a result of this change, the menu drawer on Firefox Android is now wider. It does this, I assume, to accommodate my now-longer email address. Here is a comparison:   But here's the thing: I don't really need to see my email address, or at least, not that much of it. What I'd really like to see is the menu and the webpage. I think there should be a lot of work done to have the profiles working, like for instance making them native and customizable like in Chrome. I think a lot of us are switching over to FF because of Chrome's latest version that doesn't allow adblockers, but there is so much more that Chrome does better which is making this a difficult transition. I created separate profiles, one for work and one personal, and they both have Ublock Origin, however the filters I create don't sync automatically. The only way to do it is to backup/restore, which is very irritating since I am on the same computer and I shouldn't have to copy/paste or backup/restore. ... View more

I'm often viewing PDFs in Firefox and I use the tab icons to quickly find the right tab, but when a tab contains a PDF it has no icon. This makes it harder for me to find it quickly as I'm looking for the absence of something. Themes are a major reason why I choose Firefox over other browsers and the addition of vertical tabs is great and very welcome! Hello, I just enabled the new Firefox 136’s vertical tabs and it’s already great to be able to use it natively. I was wondering though if it would be possible to have bigger icons in the future? I saw tab width and spacing being discussed but not really icon size in the "collapsed" view. My motivation is that the websites’ favicons do not fill the whole rounded square and I find it a bit of a shame to have empty space instead of just filling it with the favicon. I find the small size very inconvenient and habitually mute the pinned tab instead of clicking it. Please add sizing options. I would like it if sizing behaved like a regular tab's or was customizable. The option to rename pinned tabs would be great too. ... View more
