Hello,

Currently the bookmarks bar in Firefox have more space on the top than the bottom. It is like that since a long time, so I assume this is something the FF devs and most users prefer. However, coming from a different browser, it doesn't look good.

So, if possible, can the developer team provide an option in Firefox itself to change the padding on both sides.

I am aware that we can do this using CSS, but it makes browser startup a tiny bit slow. So, an option by default would be great.

Here's what I mean to say, since I am bad at explaining:

Firefox:

Brave:

You can see, the padding of bookmarks on top and bottom are equal in Brave but not in Firefox.

Would also like to see this option.  As compared to Chrome, Firefox's bookmarks in the toolbar are too compact for me.  Not the list of bookmarks when you click a folder.  I'm speaking of hte padding between the bookmarks (horizontally) as well as the padding above/below bookmarks.  Chrome has a better appearance.  I'm sure there are users who prefer the compact view.  So an option to select compact, expanded, etc. would be nice.
