Firefox 88 had icons and labels on the main menu and the context menu.  After Firefox 88, it's just labels. Menu icons give instant visual cues, help speed up the act of finding the needed menu item, plus they help non-tech savvy users. Idea: Please bring back the menu icons. Or, at least, give us an option to see them. Removing the icons has become a persistent speedbump in productivity usage despite months of trying to get accustomed to it. Hello, I always have many Firefox windows open with many pages in each focussed on different subjects. The problem here is that all of those windows need to stay open in order to keep them accessible and grouped. That sucks up a lot of memory over time! The Firefox "File" menu has sub-menus, "New Window" and "Close Window". However, you have never added the menu functions, "Save Window" and "Open Window". Why does Firefox not have this? I'm pretty sure I asked for it to be added years ago. These two features will greatly heighten Firefox's utility in managing information! Please let me know if you can make this revision. The latest update removed the “Inactive Tabs” feature in the Mobile Browser, and instead displays all tabs in the window in order of when they were first opened.  Requesting to restore the Inactive Tabs function as a means of neat organization and aesthetics by removing clutter. When using the shortcut to access the history I don't get the same menu I get when accessing it clicking through the harmburger drop down. It's especially annoying when I'm accessing the history to retrieve closed tabs and windows, because they are unavailable in the shortcut menu. Hi everyone! I often use Firefox windows for websites like WhatsApp or Telegram. These websites are not really just “regular websites” but rather full-featured, semi-standalone web applications. It would be incredibly convenient if, for such windows, I could hide (remove) the navigation toolbar with the back/forward buttons and the address bar, so that only the website content remains visible. F11 does something close to what I want, but it switches the window into fullscreen mode. With the latest update, the nav controls were adjusted and moved from where it once was. Navigation controls (back, forward, refresh, etc.) should be placed closest and immediately accessible to where the thumb/finger is after pressing the menu button. The Multi-Account Containers extension is a very useful addon as it prevents websites from accessing all your browsing data by limiting it inside containers. I love this so much as it enhances the privacy. For example, I keep all meta related websites like facebook, instagram in a seperate container. So the only data they can access is between their own websites and not the rest of my browsing habits. TLDR: Please bring this extension for Android!   ... View more

I love extensions like Dark Reader that automatically transform any website with a dark theme. The way they do this is by injecting many new styles into the DOM, it works but there is two main drawbacks to this method : - there's a latency that makes contents blink - it reduces performances on some websites by a lot So It would be great if there could be a built-in low level solution (directly in web render?) that would swap colors on the fly without editing the page styles and thus would solve the two aforementioned issues. ... It would significantly improve user experience and reduce user confusion if the mailbox view could indicate which messages contain PGP encryption. This feature would be very useful because the Thunderbird search function is unable to search the contents of PGP encrypted messages, therefore, when searching, the user needs to manually search each PGP message.  Unfortunately, it is currently not possible for the user to manually search each PGP message because the mailbox view does not indicate which e-mails are PGP encrypted. This feature request could be accomplished by adding an "Encrypted" column to the mailbox view, which, similar to the "Attachments" column, would display a "padlock" icon next to any encrypted message. A different way to implement this feature request would be to improve the existing "Attachments" column so that the "Attachments" column would display a "question mark" icon next to any encrypted message.  Currently the "Attachments" column incorrectly reports all encrypted messages as not containing attachments regardless of if the encrypted message actually contains an attachment or not.  A "question mark" icon would correctly indicate that the "Attachments" column does not know if the encrypted message contains an attachment.  While such a "question mark" icon would be an improvement because it would identify nearly all encrypted messages, it would not identify all encrypted messages because it would be technically possible (though unlikely) for an e-mail to be PGP encrypted while simultaneously containing an unencrypted attachment. ... Hallo, Firefox team. I wish you well. I am using Firefox for a very long time and I am truely greatful that Firefox existed in this cluttered and increasingly dangerous single engine based browser boom. I know you guys are trying to stay relevant and AI is everywhere now. But I want you to consider AI implementation in a different way. AI can do stuff and everyone is thinking about AI based productivity. I want you to think about AI based safety. Why not Firefox think about implementing AI to block harmful pages, phishing attempts and most importantly filtering dangerous content for regular people and children. It might automatically blurr NSFW images, automatically disable links that are considered unsafe, automatically block when someone using remote connection to access banking sites etc. Maybe you already thought about it. Preface   Firefox lacks in many aspects Chromium does very well regarding handling of Pen/Touch Input, Tablet PC UX. This needs to change for good. Over the past five years, annual sale of touchscreen laptops have risen from estimated 17% to 25%. Tablet PC form factor and touchscreen laptops are ever increasingly becoming more popular. Next MacBook is rumored to release with a touchscreen which could make the trend accelerate further. Firefox is not prepared. List of Issues I have Observed   - DND (Drag 'n Drop) Support Can't drag tabs, sidebar separator/divider line, downloaded items from download menu  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1692072 - Can't select text by dragging while holding down pen/stylus right click (barrel) button This is a platform behavior that's not supported by Firefox, but is supported by Chromium "Selection with pen. We also revised selection with pen by giving it more control over the selection process. Not only are we showing selection grippers whenever text is selected via pen, but also are allowing for a consistent and fast selection of content – text, objects, or ink—by dragging the pen while the barrel button is pressed." The zoom gesture needs refinements to match Chromium implementation. I have observed that some software (e.g. Tablet Pro Zoom) which add system wide custom touchscreen gestures interfere with Firefox's zoom gesture so as to make it not function at all whilst the same doesn't happen on Chromium browser. - Some of the buttons in Screenshot UI are not clickable with Pen/Touch input   ...
