As we all know, as reasonable as it is for site to want to make money, there are significant problems with the way ads are currently used on almost every site. Including not just a reduction in website function, but significant risks of virus' and malware. This prompts people to utilizes ad blockers. The response of sites has been not to fix the problems with ads, but to start detecting ad blocker usage and attempting to block access to the site to people that don't want to compromise their safety. This has also extended to the Google-owned Chrome removing the ability to meaningfully block ads. It would be wonderful if Mozilla took a stand in the opposite direction and took steps to prevent sites from detecting when people are using ad blocking extensions. How effectively this could be done by a browser does depend on the method sites are using to do this, but if there are things that can be done, it would be a bone for Firefox and it's users. ... First of all I have to say that I love Firefox, and use it every day, y'all are doing an amazing job! I'd really like to be able to receive push notifications when Firefox is closed. Sometimes I close Firefox to be able to focus better, but then miss important messages that people send me. In table view, we´ve got a clickable Junk (fire) icon, which I often used to directly delete spam without having it to load in the preview pane. But as i generally prefer the card view which was introduced on Supernova, I´m now missing this button. The "starred" button already exists. I don’t know about situation on android, so right now I’m speaking mostly about iOS version. Allow user to hide top searchbar/toolbar on long press. Currently I have two options in "Account Settings" under "End-to-End Encryption" for sending messages: o Disable encryption for new messages o Enable encryption for new message If I choose "Disable" I will have to remember, if the recipient might have a cert or key I already know or look it up. But usually I do forget encryption then completely and send unencrypted messages, even if it would be possible. If I choose "Enable", I will have to turn encryption off manually for every recipient I don't have a cert or key for. Thunderbird knows about all keys and certs I already received, so it can select the best possible encryption itself. I would like to recommend a third option for the settings: o Encrypt, if possible When selected, Thunderbird will use encryption for every message I write to recipients with certs or keys I already received and won't encrypt, when it's not possible. ... Hey, let me know if that is a duplicate (searched for it, found nothing) or already exists. The ideia is pretty simple: a way to flick all the extensions ON/OFF without going through private window. Let's say you have a lot of extensions and some website you are using are not working properly for some reason, sometimes extensions such as blockers can cause websites to malfunction due to some JS blockage. A way to disable extensions quickly can allow users to make the website function as normal without having to manually going through Manage Extensions > (disable one by one).
