Push notifications when browser is closed

First of all I have to say that I love Firefox, and use it every day, y'all are doing an amazing job!

I'd really like to be able to receive push notifications when Firefox is closed.
Sometimes I close Firefox to be able to focus better, but then miss important messages that people send me. I wish I could rely more on the browser notifications without having to install native messaging apps.
