It would be really useful if the tags automatically created by Thunderbird for RSS posts to be separate from the tags for emails, as this causes the tags list to become overpopulated with loads of random tags, making it annoying to find the correct tag when you're trying to tag an email.

If you want to copy an URL, you have to open it first. You can only copy it if its a bookmark. I think it would be a great feature to type something, get a recently visited site shown in the unified searchbar and by right-clicking be able to copy the link for it.

I use tab sync between my work and home computers. But unfortunately the mechanism of working with synchronized tabs is not convenient for me. I have to open Menu -> Account, and open the tabs one by one every time I want to work from my home computer.
I would like to be able to work with synchronized tabs like with the Simple tab groups extension (on the first picture). For example, this could be done using Containers in the "List All Tabs" menu (in the second picture).
Now Containers open in one tab menu (in the third picture) and this is inconvenient. It would be more convenient if only one Container was open in one window at a time (in the fourth picture).

Hi, it would be convenient if the Spam folders showed the number of their unread contents. Their behaviour would then be similar to that of other folders. The interesting thing is that they DO show the number of unread contents only after I open the folder, which is of not much use.
It can, and does, happen that I miss an expected email because I rarely think of checking those folders.
Cheers.

Heyoo, can you make it so when you right click and the attached image comes up you can still scroll? Right now you have to left click off and then you can keep scrolling. It's one of the very few disadvantages vs Chrome. Thank you.

When multiple windows are opened, the windows with fixed tabs will close first and then close other windows, and the fixed tabs will disappear Under normal circumstances, the fixed tab should not be lost no matter how close it 当打开多个窗口时,已固定标签页的窗口先关闭后关闭其他窗口,固定的标签页就消失了 正常情况下应该是无论怎么关都不应该丢失固定的标签页

A Safari style grid (or stack, because a lot of people like the old version) tab switcher would be amazing!

I wish default icons were more appealing. Folder icon could have yellow lines. Globe icon seems unminimalistic. It is like images on old geography books (for having lines across it). I like a more simple globe or change it to some more specific icon.

Dear Ideas space, thank you firstly for providing this opportunity to share my (old, untold) idea, which I like to present in this manner, to actually explain better, which is what I do best. (No judgements, I'm bad at delivery, I get that all the time. I may be understanding my own emails.) Concisely, and somewhat correct;
I'm interested to know 'why you're (all) choosing for HTML'. (Worded a bit like a magician.) That will become apparent. (Because I have an alternative, you're looking at it.)
Also, an email with 5+ MB attachments can go separate ways; mail and upload to the [password access, user specific, per user/group] place of your choice (which it is all about; standard off, like internet addresses standard off for Firefox, separate idea, "just" security patches, but you get the drift), large attachments to a separate address (such as the local machine of the recipient itself, not in the inbox file but a local map). It also 'modifies the email I sent earlier', though you don't have to know that.
(Bare in mind please, these do look like separate ideas probably maybe deserving separate threads, I must not forget to mention, but it will become apparent when these all are part of one idea, actually 'better than HTML emails'. Though it's not an HTML vs plain text discussion, I'm just bad at show and tell.)
Makes the user specific receipt requests (not for everybody) also I bit easier.
# RespectMyPref (not a product, just space to improve)
Thank you for your indulgence and your patience. I think I've not, and I shouldn't, disrespected the rules for this platform which is connect.mozilla.org. Thank you for all goodies. Thank you and thanks again. This is all about technology and giving back.

Hello,
I am not as young as I used to be, and my eyes are not getting any younger... As a result, reading things on my computer is getting harder. To add insult to injury, the current "trend" by designers is to have rather "thin" typeface and to use "gray on white" schemes...
While I can use the zoom feature (Ctrl+wheel), it tend to also zoom the stuff that I am not interested in a webpage (the side/navigation part), and therefore reduce the space used by the "central" part (where the interesting stuff normally is).
Could you create a "enhance main area" function which would zoom the center part of the webpage (I know that deciding what is "center" is not trivial) and bold out the typeface for good measure? That would be a trully great feature.
I understand that programatically finding/detecting what is "interesting" and what is "usless" on a page is hard and that the feature would not work 100%, but as long as it works on "standard implementation" webpages it would be great. For example on slashdot.org...
Thanks and keep on the great work.

After copying a number with a thousand character (this number is originally sales) and pasting it into a space on the webpage, because the space does not accept the thousand character, you need to manually delete the thousand character after copying to pass. I hope that Firefox can be updated to add the function of automatically removing the thousand digits in the amount when pasting; both Google and Edge have this function, which is very convenient.

Hello !
It would be handy if we could schedule the deletion of certain mails easily.
For example, having a "recycle bin" where we could drop mails, but in reality it would only be a shortcut to that mail that would be created there, the original mail would still be in its folder. And we could configure parameters, so that for example, any mail dropped in this recycle bin would be deleted after a week, a month... etc
For example, for trains, we receive a lot of mails when the train is about to leave, and I prefer to keep them until the end of the journey in case of problems. But I have to think about deleting them manually on a regular basis to avoid being drowned in these now useless mails....
Thanks for reading, and good luck!
Best regards !
Charly

So the main problem with security is the human, Bob sees email urging him to click on the link and login he does and his account get's stolen. Because of Bob we made password managers, problem is Bob doesn't know how to use one. So we made OAuth which Bob likes and uses it, but most websites Bob goes to don't use OAuth now what?
This is the motivation for an account manager. What is an account manager? You may ask, well
It would keep a list of accounts the user has.
Get credentials required for login from say FXA.
Provide an API that handles login and basic settings like changing password or privacy settings.
Make a one settings page (as in the one ring) to edit all accounts, set rules for auto password changing and set security levels for accounts.
And lastly it would put a login with Firefox button on all pages which would take you to a FXA login page if you have an account and if not give a message that warns about phishing.
Notes since relay is in your grasp, you could add auto filler OTP from the email that gets sent and an auto create account button which generates all info to signup like email and password and saves it.

Can this widget be made black text on white background, or white on black? The red clashes horribly with everything else on Home Screen, most other widgets have a white background. If you must keep this red version then please add different colour versions to select.

I often have a lot of 100+ tabs open. Sometimes I start the browser and all the tabs are gone and start searching on the Internet how to restore the previous session, it is often very difficult to do. It would be convenient to have a folder in bookmarks with a backup of open tabs.

i assume this was done so it would be more natural for people who put the address bar at the bottom, but using the address bar at the bottom is weird because you still have to scroll all the way to the top of the webpage to get the address bar to appear (from the bottom).
so i left the address bar at the top, and when i reach up to tap the tabs button, the purple new tab button is all the way at the bottom, which makes my thumb travel a lot, from the top all the way to the bottom.
my suggestion is to move the purple button to near the right side of teh popup, near the middle. all other browsers, like brave and duckduckgo are similar, the show tabs and the new tab buttoms are close together! for my suggestion, the purple button is near the middle, is the natural place where the thumb moves after pressing the tab button, try it yourself!
let me know what you think of all this, this firefox browser is nearly perfect, it has good add-ons (like ublock origin!), it is just missing a good button position for the new tab button (which gets used a lot! which is why i am making this long post asking to change it)
