sometimes I find myself in the possition that I want to place some extra, personell text in an incomming mail.  not just a lablecolor but a real piece of text.  To place text in the header of an e-mail, it should be nice to have the possibility to have an extra collumn wherein the text can be put.  I think that when te mail is opened, the add-on xnote++ will do, but thats more like a post-it instead of writing something between the lines...... best regards Raoul Fransen Minderhout Belgium ... The current translation pop-up window (which appears after selecting text on a webpage and choosing the "Translate" option) is fixed in size and position, and it disappears immediately upon switching to another tab. I propose three key improvements to the Firefox Translation UI:  Resizable: The user should be able to drag the edges or corners of the translation window to manually adjust its width and height. Movable: The translation window should be a floating element that can be clicked and dragged to any position on the screen, remaining visible over the webpage content.  Tab-Specific Persistence: The window must not automatically close when the user switches away from the original tab and then returns. The translation window should only be visible when the user has the original tab (where the translation was initiated) active. Why this is important: Reduced Friction: Eliminates the frustration of the window disappearing every time the user temporarily switches tabs (e.g., to look up a related term or a fact on another page). Enhanced Focus: By only appearing on the original tab, it prevents clutter on other tabs while maintaining the utility of a persistent tool for the specific task at hand. ... View more

As of 12/9/25, Firefox seems to now prevent Theme add-ons from working if there is a contrast setting configured in Windows configuration. (Version 146.0) Previously, this allowed a very aesthetically pleasing view. I would greatly enjoy having that option again. Thank you. Currently filters are applied on an account by account basis. Since a single account can contain multiple accounts, e.g. the RSS account, it would be useful to be able to assign specific filters to specific folders within an account only. ... View more

Add the ability to add folders from the 'filter rules' menu. Our emails get many messages from different emails each day. So it seems that Mozi//a Connect has a moderation problem. Comments take forever to be approved, threads get hidden so people can't see them, DMing staff doesn't seem to do anything anymore, etc. My idea is creating a "verified" status for certain accounts. The verification process could go something like: User "Hey I'm a real person." Staff: "What's the capitol of Kentucky?" User: "Frankfort." verified. I use four windows, with many tabs in each, for different purposes. It should be helpful if each background of the windows were of a different color, to identify in what window is the current tab (specially when I use the "search tabs" tool). I noticed recently that some files I downloaded while in private mode just vanished. The files in question were books and articles I wanted to read, and I had saved them in advance. Lo and behold, once I looked for them to read them, I found that they vanished.  What happened was that a new feature was introduced, where downloaded files from private sessions would be deleted after the session was closed. I was never asked about this. I was at least able to find the option in the settings to disable it once I realized what happened, but why was I never asked even once? I don't know how other people use the private windows, but I like to play music in them sometimes or look into a specific topic, without being bombarded by the same in my YouTube algorithm later. So I also end up looking things up in those tabs as well out of habit.  I have no idea any more which articles I had saved, and I have no way of finding out what they were. It is little annoyances like these which interfere with my everyday processes that get to me the most.  At least introduce a temporary bin or a list of the deleted file names, if not the files themselves. ...
