As an added feature to pins, as someone with dexterity issues, OCD, and also just for the reasons of general muscle memory, it would be nice for you to be able to "Hard Pin" the location of your tabs. The reason I run into this problem is that occasionally when switching between tabs, they swap places with each other as it's interpreted as a drag and not a click. When you go into Firefox View and look at the Open Tabs screen, at the top it shows you your pins, and then below it all of your "regular" tabs that are open. As someone who pins those things there for the ease of access, it is very frustrating when they slide out of order and you can't figure out where it went cause it jumps to the end of the row. When you sort it by tab order, you should have the option to be able to lock that order (at least for the pins), so that the quick reference that they are supposed to be is not defeated by them accidentally shifting out of place and not being there when your muscle memory goes to find it. I want my pins to be IE (Personal Email, Messenger, Social Media 1, Social Media 2, Designated forum page, product search 1, 2, and 3 in that order, Work/School Email). And I want to know that when my brain goes to look for it, it's gonna be in that order, and not slide, and for people with shaky hands (particularly older people or people with disabilities), pinned tabs can sometimes be more frustrating than it is helpful. ... When I am reading a very long paper, and I am looking for a specific section, I use the find in page function to look for all sections related to the keyword that I remember. However, sometimes this keyword appears many times in a short span, and I don't want to have to keep cycling through the matches one by one to find the section I'm looking for. I really appreciate that Firefox now includes an AI Chatbot in the sidebar. It’s very convenient for quick questions while browsing. However, the current design has a serious usability issue. You cannot send a message using Enter, which is the standard in nearly every modern chat interface. There is no keyboard shortcut to submit a message at all. The only option is to click the Send button manually with a mouse or pointer. This breaks user expectations and disrupts natural typing flow. It is especially frustrating for people like me who rely on muscle memory after years of using tools like Slack, Discord, and even basic web forms where Enter submits your message. Calling this a "chat" but removing the most common chat behavior is misleading. It also creates an accessibility barrier for people with motor disabilities, users who depend on keyboard-only navigation, and power users who rely on speed and efficiency. This lack of keyboard support makes the feature harder to use than it needs to be. Please consider updating the sidebar so that Enter submits a message, and Shift + Enter creates a new line. Can we have a setting that automatically sorts downloads into folders depending on conditions like MIME type or file extension The rules can be like image/* D/Download/Pictures application/x-bittorrent D/Download/Torrents video/* D/Download/Videos application/zip D/Download/Compressed application/x-msdownload D/Download/Programs instead of the traditional setting on every browser we have right now which is  Downloads Save files to ______________ [ ] Always ask you where to save files    This way we dont have to rely on other addons that make you do extra steps like right clicking the item, opening the context menu, and picking a folder to save it in. My suggestion is to implement password locking of open tabs. It turns out that I use WhatsApp, personal email at my workplace and sometimes I am away from my computer, leaving the browser open with the tabs open, leaving it vulnerable for anyone who has access to my computer to access the open tabs. My suggestion is that we can set a temporary password on the tab we want, so I can keep the browser open, leave my accounts connected and if someone wants to see the open tab, they have to set a password. ... Please provide options to disable/enable some of the features which might be used by some users but not others, these features unnecessarily occupies space in the menu redesign or shows in addresss bar... For example , I don't use reader mode function but there is no option in the UI to disable Similarly other features are 1 Reader mode 2. I wonder if it would be a difficult thing to add folder names to the searchable material within a user's Firefox bookmarks?  It could potentially reduce the time required when trying to find a page that has a name or location you can't remember, and in some cases it may be the only way to locate it at all.  Moreover, it's hard to imagine a very important reason for not including it. Perhaps some users would feel that the addition of folder names to the list of results from a search would add annoying clutter and length to the list.  If that is true, then making the inclusion an optional feature for indexing and search preferences would keep the change from becoming cumbersome for them. ... Recently when I've been sorting through my bookmarks, I notice that a number of sites I saved a while ago are defunct or worse, the URL has been taken over by a spam website. It would be nice if Firefox integrated a column that would notify me of the bookmarks status, e.g. a) the site seems good b) the site is dead or c) if the site is potentially unsafe.  I see that others have suggested automatically deleting broken bookmarks, but I would personally find this confusing. I might not remember if I had saved the site or not, and I might keep searching for it, not knowing the bookmark was deleted. The "Reader view" and "Read aloud" functions are great, given my poor eyesight. One thing that I find really bothersome is that, after clicking on the headphone icon, the little "Read aloud" dialog box cannot be minimized or moved out of the way and so obscures the text I would like to see. ... i use picture in picture often on youtube, its now you have to press icon on screen everytime going picture in picture mode.  please make it possible to assign a hotkey to picture in picture function. it would be better if you can go picture in picture mode even from full screen mode. ... It’d be cool if Night Mode on iOS could be configured to *follow* the system/device theme. that way, when a user’s device shifts to dark mode, Firefox would follow that accordingly and display all webpages in dark mode without the user having to manually turn on (or off) Night Mode. Hello,  I think there should be an option to customize the delay for expanding the sidebar with vertical tabs in Firefox. Most times when I want to change tabs, I move my mouse cursor over the sidebar, and I already know which tab it is and don't need to expand the sidebar, but I am unable to click and move my cursor away without the expanding animation starting. I think for me a 1-1.5s delay would be ideal (because sometimes I need to read tab titles), but I didn't find an option to change this. ... View more
