In the past there used to be a VLC Mozilla Plugin. It would be great if I could use my local mpv player in the same manner, as the default player for all videos. It would be easier now with WASM.
I hope a more general shader is implemented. AMD's FSR1 is ideal. I use it with mpv player and its CPU usage is negligible while improving image quality considerably.
