That when you click on a link, you get a message window with the title of the link and the destination to which the link leads. In this way, potential fraud/phishing can be recognized in advance.
I’d be delighted to see this feature implemented. It’s similar to Google Chrome’s feature on iOS. However, from what I understand, your proposed feature differs from Google Chrome’s implementation on iOS. Google Chrome only allows this feature to be activated by external links, not within the Chrome browser itself.
I’ve also submitted an idea myself on this matter (waiting for approval). I suggest asking users if they want to open external links in private browsing, normal browsing, or cancel. This way, users won’t be automatically navigated to the link and will have a second chance to review the URL and pick their browsing mode of choice.
Nevertheless, I love the suggestion. It would enhance security. Perhaps it could be included in the privacy and security settings, with a warning message indicating that every link you click will have prompts.
amazing suggestion, considering how common phishing emails are, this could not only protect private users from scams, but also save companies millions and prevent alot of databreaches
the way the discord app (where phishing is common as well) does this seems like a perfect example, displaying the full link, asking for confirmation to open it and giving the option to trust that domain in the future
