Hello. Please add the ability to set up an additional (backup) DNS over HTTPS server. This is necessary for fault tolerance. For example, so I could set up Cloudflare DNS as the primary DNS server and Google DNS as the secondary DNS server. If Cloudflare DNS stops responding, Google DNS would be used.

The "Summarize page" takes up unnecessary space at the bottom of the sidebar-ai window, making it's viewport really short. The feature could be moved to the three-dots menu.

When using the the chat especially when on either of my laptops. I think it would be useful to be able to minimize/hide the chat but not have it completely close so you can stay in the same session. In my head I see it working by adding a simple minimize button next to the close button. When it minimizes, the icon for the chat can stay highlighted to alert that it is still active. Also, when switching from chat to other options like bookmarks, history or tabs. If there is a current chat open it should use the minimize behavior so the same chat is still active when you navigate back. So essentially the only time the chat closes or resets is when you close it.

I use a win 11 laptop. I cant tell the difference between edge browser window and the firefox browser window. Please make it easier for me to see/know which browser I am looking at.

I wanted to find an email about my purchase of some vitamin supplements. I entered "d3 k2 PopularWebstore" in the global search box and was surprised to find that all results from PopularWebstore were returned, regardless of whether they matched "d3" or "k2". After some additional experimentation I ended up trying a search for "mk7 PopularWebstore" which worked as expected. So, it seems that 3 characters is the minimum length of a word in the search box, but I don't see any indication in the UI that this is the case. Perhaps a simple warning on the top of the results page could be added? Or the terms could be crossed out and shown in read, with a hover tooltips explaining the issue?

Currently, one cannot edit pinned Shortcuts on iOS on a new tab screen. Such a feature would make them far more usable as they would become much more visible since most websites has hard to manage titles. This handicap also prolongs to make minor edits. Thanks.

Convert the currency from what is displayed on the web page to the users selected currency (e.g., selected in settings or by the currency of the region they browse in) by highlighting the price. It's a feature in Opera that I'd love to see in Firefox. https://www.opera.com/features/units-converter

Unfortunately, we can't add a custom image to the background of the home page in Firefox iOS. It would be really cool if we could add custom image for the background. Also a customizable browser theme with color options would be great (like tab color, menu color)

The desktop version has always supported this. It would make fighting spam so much easier if this was available in Thunderbird on mobile devices too.

Since Mozilla is promoting the use of profiles for content segregation (in addition to containers), it would be great if right-clicking a link also offered options to open the link on a specific profile, showing all available profiles (as we can currently do with containers).

For some unknown reason, pinned vertical tabs get stacked horizontally only, packed as tightly as possible within the current side bar width. I can get them stacked vertically by reducing the side bar width, thus reducing all tabs to just the icon. There is plenty of room for a couple dozen tabs in that side bar, and users can decide whether display just the icon or also (a part of) the title/URL. A similar feature can be seen in Vivaldi browser.

A less complex product will have less bugs. The core of Firefox should only be the needed functionality to browse the web. Additions that are built in like Pocket add additional code. I my idea is that Firefox should split Pocket out from the Firefox executable and have it as an pre-installed extension which can be disabled by users or even removed if they do not want to have have it in their installation.

Hi! It would be great that the toolbar of the PDF viewer in Firefox were customisable. I would like to be able to decide which features (and their icons) were visible on the bar and which others were collapsed. Currently, it is imposible to change the distribution of the tools on the bar... or I do not know how to do it. Thank you very much.

Thunderbird 140.5.0esr (64-bit) on ubuntu unity 24.04 Desktop Hi. I'm a long time and happy user of Thunderbird. I have a suggestion to make it even better IMHO: When you Click on an Event, a Screen comes up showing some information for that Event and an 'Edit' button. I don't see the point of this. Why not go directly into the Edit ? Of course for Multiple Occurrence Events, you would still first ask if the Edit is for 'Current' or 'All'. The fewer keystrokes the better. Thanks, M...

Hello. If the "Open previous windows and tabs" setting is enabled and a domain is added to the exception list with the "Allow for Session" status, then when you restart the browser, the data for that site isn't deleted and is restored along with the previous session. This poses a threat to privacy (if you add a site to exceptions to prevent it from storing cookies and data for more than a session). I understand that all other sites save their sessions and tabs, but why not delete the data for these excluded sites and close their tabs automatically when you restart the browser? This is exactly how it should work intuitively.

The idea is that the user can choose which search engine to use from the browser's home screen: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, etc., without having to go into the browser's settings.

The latest update removed the “Inactive Tabs” feature in the Mobile Browser, and instead displays all tabs in the window in order of when they were first opened. Requesting to restore the Inactive Tabs function as a means of neat organization and aesthetics by removing clutter. Simply put—if I wanted to have all my tabs displayed like Safari, I would have used Safari. Thank you!

I am using Thunderbird 140.6.0esr (portable), and I have found that keeping subfolders compact is essential for stability when moving the files between computers. At one time, there was a menu item for "Compact Folders" which would compact all subfolders in a subfolder, but that went away a while ago. What I have to do now is right click on every subfolder and click on "Compact". What I would like is a keyboard shortcut, and this exists for folders, but subfolders have two menu items that use "C": "Copy to" and "Compact". So I have to right-click, hit "C" twice, then enter. This gets very tedious when I have dozens of subfolders to compact. Please change the subfolder right click menu to be consistent with the folder right click menu so that "C" performs Compact Folder in both.
