Since this feature hit my browser after an update a while ago, I'm constantly annoyed by it. I've been dragging tabs all the way to the left to rearrange them practically forever, and now suddenly doing this is pinning tabs that I don't want to pin - I'm just trying to rearrange my tabs. Perhaps I'm in the minority here, and that's fine - this feature can be enabled by default; however, an option to disable it altogether (via settings or even an about:config option) would go a long way. This feature greatly disrupts my workflows and has proven to slow me down when I'm in my flow state while developing websites. I need this feature to be toggle-able to continue using Firefox as my daily driver browser. Update 2025-09-29: This feature can now be (mostly) disabled via an about:config option (as of v143.0.3). Setting "browser.tabs.dragDrop.pinInteractionCue.delayMS" to any relatively high value should effectively disable the option. The value is the number of milliseconds before the pin tab option triggers. I set mine to 2000, requiring a full 2s before the feature triggers, which has generally solved the issue for me. Hi everyone! I often use Firefox windows for websites like WhatsApp or Telegram. These websites are not really just “regular websites” but rather full-featured, semi-standalone web applications. It would be incredibly convenient if, for such windows, I could hide (remove) the navigation toolbar with the back/forward buttons and the address bar, so that only the website content remains visible. F11 does something close to what I want, but it switches the window into fullscreen mode. Would it be possible to add a button, menu item, or shortcut (for example, Shift+F11) that hides all browser UI in the window without going fullscreen? ... View more

I'm watching a YT video. It ends. Advertisements appear. I switch to another tab to relax.  Some ads are funny, others not. I look at the YT tab preview if I can skip. But it's a steady picture. On Linux the xdg email portal requires clients to support mailto: URIs following RFC 2368, with “cc”, “bcc”, “subject” and “body” query keys each corresponding to the email header of the same name, and with each attachment being passed as a file:// URI as a value in an “attachment” query key currently running thunderbird mailto:?subject=&body=&attachment=/home/user/path/to/document.txt does open a new email editor but without document.txt attached. This also means other applications using the xdg email portal cannot create emails for composition with attachments. Make it easier to hide the share button in the address bar in Firefox on Android. Together with reader mode and the translate button (if available) there is almost no space left for the address itself. There are a couple of Thunderbird extensions that I regard as essential, such as the brilliant ThreadVis, which, alas, isn't currently compatible with v140.6.0esr I know that I can prevent Thunderbird updates from being automatically installed, but the process of checking whether extensions are compatible is laborious, if not impossible - the ThreadVis page currently advises that it is compatible with Thunderbird 146!  I would have expected it to be compatible with v140.6.0esr... As a user, I need an option to alert me if an update is incompatible with any extensions, and advise which extensions those are, allowing me to cancel an update. ... View more

Instead of shoving so called AI tools in Firefox, I would love a feature that can detect AI content, whether in text or in media (audio, image, video). Right click a text selection, an image or a video and select "Is it AI?". A popup appears and gives an answer. You could also add this feature to Thunderbird. ... View more

With a catchall address on my domain. It is easy to find out which party might be leaking my address when receiving spam. But with the current Mozilla monitor it is only possible to specify specific email addresses to be monitored, not a whole domain. Please consider improving the service. ... View more

Improve Collections usability in Firefox Android (delete confirmation & reorder bookmarks) Description: When browsing Collections in Firefox Android, I often accidentally delete a link by swiping left. The gesture is sometimes misinterpreted by the phone instead of scrolling down, which leads to unwanted deletion. Additionally, there is currently no way to reorder bookmarks inside a Collection directly on the device. If a bookmark is deleted and then re-added, the new entry changes the order of the Collection, which is undesirable. Proposed solution: Add a confirmation dialog before deleting a bookmark from a Collection, or allow users to disable the left-swipe delete gesture entirely. Introduce the ability to manually reorder bookmarks within a Collection on the device. Benefit: These improvements would prevent accidental data loss and give users more control over how their Collections are organized. Since Sync is broken on Android (many users are suffering from this!), there is NO possibility to save bookmarks on from mobile device. The only chance to get sync work again is to wipe Firefox completely so I will lost all bookmarks. Without an export function I have to manually do this for more than 300 entries. Exporting bookmarks was possible 20 years ago! So either fix the bogus Sync on Android or give the customers access to their data! ... View more

Hello, I'm testing firefox on an android tablet and realized that I can't make remove its default browser, chrome in favor of firefox since I will need drag and drop images while taking notes and such. Upon further testing, here's a list of all drag and drop features that I think are missing: 1. Drag links/text on tab to open new tab in position 2. Ability to drag images at all is missing 3. I just rebooted and found myself in spam hell. All the applications were ones I use, either when gaming or editing code. A window popped up covering the field where I was expected to enter a password. Worse it was not possible to move or minimize that window. I had to fill in the field and make it unusable.  This may not be completely solvable in Thunderbird, but a list of other applications that could be brought to the front would be a lifesaver. From the previous post on Crowdicity: I would like to see vertical tabs baked in. MS Edge now has it out of the box! I currently use addons for this - but there's no way to disable the top tab bar, which duplicates the tabs and takes up space. Vertical tabs (with top bar disabled) would free up more space for web content, which is (usually) vertical. Most screens are widescreen (RIP ThinkPad 4:3 ratios), so the less browser UI at the top/bottom, the more content we can view.
