Using privacytests.org test on mobile. I found that android firefox doesn't have a favicon cache that's partitioned. This means that a website can track users across the web using their favicon cache. Most browsers seam to have this, but Firefox mobile doesn't. I guess that would be a fairly easy thing to implement? That would improve firefox androids ability to resist fingerprinting tracking. The test: https://privacytests.org/archive/issue83/android

Hi dear product manager, Firefox is an amazing web browser and China netizens love it so much! However China users now only can enjoy version 116! Comparing with the current version users of Firefox, we are under-developed netizens 😞 Could Firefox China work harder to bring the up-to-date version to China users so we can enjoy it? Thanks a lot🌹

I am a big fan and follower of Thunderbird as user.
I use message filters extensively.
It would be good if we can modify the filter conditions in one filter with if and else conditions for each parameter
For example -
I have a filter called IOCL
One condition is if this mail is from @iocl.com then move it to folder named IOCL
then if the mail is coming from @iocl and has the subject contains payment advice forward it to accounts@abc.com
and also the first filter applies
and then if the mail subject is saying no contact then delete it
and so on......
currently in the filter conditions selected we have all the outcome is applied to all parameters

"In previous versions, selecting all the text and pressing cmd+r would automatically wrap the entire text. However, this feature is now very difficult to use as I need to press cmd+r after every line I write. How is this different from pressing shift+enter? Please restore the original functionality."

Hi,
In Firefox mobile when I need to open a new tab from bookmarks or. from history, I need to do 3 click move.
I would like that a button for bookmarks and history is added to the open tabs list alongside the synced tabs private tabs at the top side of the list so that clicking the bookmark button, the bookmarks list will be shown and by selecting a bookmark a new tab shall be opened.
similarly for history.
as it is now, I need to press the tabs button, thenbpress the plus sign to open tab, then anywhere inside the screen to hide the keyboard, then the dots appear and I can click on them, then bookmarks or history.
thanks

In Apple Photos, when you open any photo, all the photos are lined up underneath, like this: I'd like to be able to switch the tabs with this thing I don't know the name of, which is activated by long-pressing the tab button: Of course, the current function of long-pressing the tab button would have to be moved to something else, like long-pressing the URL bar or something like that. I noticed in Samsung Gallery that it also has this feature, so this is possible on Android. Also, I personally think it would be nice to add this feature here:

Hello, Highlights feature is a need in Reader View. And this feature is already available in Pocket. Integrate! Idea: Add highlights feature to Reader View. Have 3 highlights rights for each article. Sync by logging into Pocket. (like bookmark and FF Sync)* Add unlimited highlighting with Pocket Premium. *if not signed in to Pocket, storage it locally.

F11 toggles fullscreen.
If you set 'browser.fullscreen.autohide' to 'false' in the about:config, you can have full width with tabs.
Would really appreciate a key-press like shift+F11 to toggle the tabs functionality.

Many mobiles have the front camera buried under the touch screen, so I wondered: could Firefox know where the front camera is, and when the user long presses on the front camera, trigger a customized shortcut, like opening the camera to scan a QR code or something like that?

For the sake of one-hand using Firefox on smartphones with large screen (literally any smartphone nowadays) tabs should start from the bottom - it's easier to close them then. At least, such option would be highly appreciated

It would be great to be able to schedule automatic updates to a time window, so it doesn't disrupt daily work. For example, I would want to tell Firefox "Don't update during normal 8-5 working hours".

When I click in a download link the focus of the program goes to the download popup window. It's annoying if you have to click several download links because yo have to click twice on the page, one in the page itself in order to this get the focus back and the other for init another download. There would be good that the download window shows only if we want to see what are downloading (by clicking the icon, like in older versions), oterwise the focus must to stay in the page in order to could click in all the download links that we want. Sorry for my poor english, I hope you could understand what I'm explainig. Greetings from Argentina, user of Firefox for a ten years.

Hello,
I am currently exploring and really enjoying the new Thunderbird Supernova and I like the new unified folders feature. However, there's one thing keeping me from using it. My email provider divides emails into INBOX and newsletters folders. However, Thunderbird doesn't recognize the newsletters folder as a regular folder for incoming messages and doesn't include it into the unified folders view.
It would be helpful if Thunderbird knew what the newsletters folder is for and would include it into the unified folders view.

Firefox needs an application (app/applet) that easily transfers Firefox profiles from one computer to another without requiring the user to do everything manually, needs a network or syncing capability. A simple, automatic function that:
- installs on removable media (i.e. usb device)
- copies the profile from computer A onto the removable media
- copies from the removable media to computer B
In this modern computer age there is no reason for users to have to hunt for instructions and do everything manually. This especially true for inexperienced users.

I do a lot of copying and pasting from the text on web pages or in text boxes. It would save a huge amount of time if I could use the ALT key (or OPTION on Apple) at the start of a cursor drag operation to select text to select from the nearest previous word boundary, not including the boundary character (often a space). While the ALT key is held, the cursor drag will align to the end of the current word, not including the boundary character. The ALT key would also work with the current SHIFT drag (SHIFT ALT: select all text from current cursor location on word boundaries) and CTRL drag (CTRL ALT: add additional text to current selections, with the additional text being on word boundaries).
