Hey. I would think it would be helpful to connect my phone to Thunderbird. Like how I can use Messages in my Firefox browser, or how windows does Phone link. First of all, thanks for Thunderbird, I've been using it for ages! One thing strikes me at the moment. I send a lot of e-mails to "service(AT)bestcorp.com" but only rarely to others like "bahnbonus-service(AT)bahn.de". Now guess which ones are suggested to me first? Yes, exactly all the others with "service" in the name and/or in the address. That's why I would like to have a way to mark e-mails as favourites and have them displayed first. The biggest and nicest advantage of Google is their lable system. It's so nice and easy to use. At the same time it gives you such a nice overview of your mails and you find everything so much faster. It would be really cool if Thunderbird would implement something which is exactly like Google Mails lable system. Like nearly a 100% copy. Even if it then just works with Thunderbird clients over IMAP and it's not compatible with other IMAP clients or something it would be really nice. If you open a message in a new Thunderbird tab, read halfway through the text, return to the main tab, and then switch back to the message's tab, the text will be returned (scrolled back) to the beginning, instead of maintaining the position at which was. Please copy Microsoft Outlook for Android's highly useful feature to swipe an e-mail in the inbox (to the left or to the right) and get presented with a dialogue where you can choose on which date and at which time you want this e-mail to be re-sent to you (additionally with customizable, pre-defined datetimes for easy and quick accessibility). Since many to-dos come in by e-mail and one can also write e-mails to oneself for later reminders (which many people do), this would, with relatively little effort, make the new Thunderbird a notes app on top, too! I only want a single feature, minimize to tray and email notification when minimized. I knew there is bird tray and others . But it is not from thunderbord itself. When an image fails to load on a page, the behaviour of Firefox seems to be to show its alt text if that attribute exists, otherwise it shows the broken image icon. This isn't ideal as the alt text attribute can exist but be empty, leaving a blank space which the user may not even realise is supposed to be an image. Even when the alt text attribute isn't empty, it might not be immediately apparent that it's actually alt text for an image and not part of the webapge body's text etc. Instead of showing just the alt text, I suggest showing both the broken image icon and the alt text, like Chrome's behaviour. Sorry, not sure how to word it. But you know when you're on IT/coding blogs and such and they're describing the code and give an example, and it's usually in some kind of box, to distinguish the code vs the regular text in the blog? Could those boxes be in the in the Reader Viewer as well?  I use Reader Viewer quite often, but when they're coding sites and they have the examples, the code ends up getting wrongfully-formatted and the text is all over the place.   ... This idea Came to me when I was trying to turn off dark reader this morning, on Firefox android it takes 5 clicks to change it back and forth. On Samsung internet, which has its own built in dark mode function, takes only 2 clicks Now I only use this as an example, could be usefull for ad blockers or really any add on. Having it so they can have toggles in the add on drawer or even "higher up", existing in the drop down menu, could improve user experience as for stuff like dark reader or ublock, all I need to do is toggle it for night time or sites that don't like ad blockers Alternative could be having them when clicked instead of entering a "pseudo" window of their own, taking up the whole screen. instead go into a space roughly the same size as add-ons or menu tray. So one can still see the page their on, for dark reader and read aloud this would be quite usefull I think. Now for configuring of these add ons a full pseudo window would still work great but for quick toggling of things it's not the best way.     ... View more

Hi my name is max, so i made right now links for my most used websites like yr.no or kalkulaator.ee i think i'm to lazy for type everytime a address. so i got idea, what if a browser transform in to sandbox in to web apps. yeah i know this idea not new, but what if remove address bar show it only when you need, and use a bars like a most used (links/webapps) links show as icons in launchpad in macos. yeah i know firefox/chrome and other have this but its some kind stupid, make that more simple. possibilty to open them in separate windows (with variations as tablets or phone resolutions), make file links to open page as standalone webapp (there is webapps that i need open all time but i dont like everytime write address. may be separate settings for every webapp. take some kind idea from ios where some pages i'm linked to home page but when i open them they opens like as app there is no address bar no buttons (browser buttons and other UI elements from browser) just a page which is very good for use (yeah i know as return button i use swipe right) but there is possibility to make full right side semi transparent button (hides when un used) ... In the older client I could specify from the drop down list which email account to choose when downloading messages. In the new betas and simplified menus, you have to highlight the email account, then choose the "get messages" button up top next to "new messages". I propose to add to the right click menu (right click on account) the option to "get messages". I realize the announcement said that betas at this stage do not have all the features in place, so this request may all ready be part of the plan. Hello everyone since the cache and cookies we get after use different site include many sensitive data then in my humble opinion that there be an option to secure delete it built in the browser so if we clear it manually or someone set it to be clear each time the browser get closed it get deleted and can not be recovered or at least the cache /cookies be sent to the recycle / trash and the user has the option to either delete it normally or use third party app to delete it in secure way despite i prefer the first option but second one could  be used till the first one be implemented if it considered valuable idea thanks for your time to read that and have a nice day 🙂 ...
