On my foldable phone (Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5) it would be very helpful to have the option to only show the split-screen view for the mails if the phone is unfolded. Right now there are only options to always/never/in landscape turn split-screen on, so the app is either very stretched on the inner screen or very cramped on the outer screen, depending on the option. Can the Clear Local Messages functionality, currently available on individual folders be replicated at the account level? I have finally moved on from K9 v5.6 to the current Thunderbird release. Great to see the UI & workflow improvements particularly with the account lists. However....... I really miss the Clear Local Messages function at the account level - i.e. ability to clear all local message from all folders for an account. The current process of going though each individual folder (even the most basic: inbox/sent/trash) is laborious & time-consuming. I see that the 'Remove Account' function from K9 has been replicated in the 3-dot menu for Account Settings. This would be a good place to have the Clear Local Messages function for each account. Reason I find this useful - I use my android devices for temporarily accessing email when away from my main computer. My android devices are set not to delete items on the server and not to sync server deletions. My main computer is set to download & delete from the server. I use this arrangement so I can retain local copies of some emails if required e.g. whilst traveling for a period, i.e. I can have local copies of travel itineraries, tickets etc which remain even after my main computer has done a download & delete on the server. Once I return to my main computer I no longer need the local copies & they can be deleted, along with any other local copies of received or sent emails. ... View more

a 2-Factor authenticator would be VERY USEFUL, especially if it encrypts and stores the codes in my Firefox account. Hey guys. I use both the mobile and Windows versions of Third. And I just love the Windows app. But the max rate of fetching messages on the mobile app is only 15 minutes. Firefox MobileEvery time I try to watch a yt video, it asks if I would like to watch it in the app. Theres a button to make it remember my choice for opening it in the app but what if I would like to watch videos in the browser only? Would it be possible to have an option to stop Thunderbird 'opening' more than one email? Or at least stop it happening on a double click or 'enter'? This is something I never want to to, and end up frequently doing unintentionally. I often select multiple emails, e.g. to delete, move, or mark, and I sometimes end up with them all opening in separate tabs or windows.  This is possibly partly due to an old mouse that generates unintended double clicks when I click an email to add. It's also possibly partly due to my Parkinson's. The consequence of this can be painful if I've selected dozens of emails. Thunderbird grinds to a halt, and getting rid of all the tabs can be a little time-consuming as I have to either individually delete them, or 'close other', and restore the tabs I want. ... I'm really frustrated when using my mouse scroll wheel button for doing locked auto-scrolling (clicking the wheel toggles the scrolling on & off). The feature works great -- with one major exception.  If I happen to click the wheel while the cursor is over a hyperlinked image or hyperlinked text, the link opens in a new tab. But, that wastes time and interrupts my work flow. It's a frequent frustration. I just want the scrolling to stop, and no link to open. Now, I realize that some people do use the wheel button to open a link in a new tab (which I do from the right-click menu instead). So, I ask that an new booleen  item be added to About:Config.  It could be called MiddleButtonControlsScroll.  When set to True, the middle button (scroll wheel click) would toggle locked auto-scrolling on/off, and NEVER open link. As a user, I'd like to be able to click-and-drag my Firefox Window by grabbing empty Vertical Tab space. The new vertical tabs (with groups) is great, however it does leave some unfertilised blank space that could be better utilised.  A few times I've clicked-and-dragged on the blank space in the hope of moving my Firefox window somewhere else, such as a different monitor - but at the moment it's just empty space that does nothing.
