Is it possible to have in my thunderbird for android phone an address book as in thunderbird for PC ? It would be nice to quit Google ! Thank you

On Firefox for Android, there is a function to select among your open tab s and apply them to a "collection," which then does nothing to the appearance of all your currently open tabs. To be current with standards for 2025, these collections should also group the tabs together. Alternatively, roll out a tab group feature. There is a dire need for visual cleanliness, but currently, Firefox for Android leaves all your open tabs completely separate and spread out all over the place. Please allow a feature to put them in clumps or groups just like Google Chrome for Android.

Suggest, to add a new module under settings, called "Diagnostic module" or similar. Under this module, the user would have option, to run a diagnostic module. This module would search for all/any errors in Firefox browser. Then, be able to, at user's option, to send the error reports to Firefox (or Mozilla).

You can use a local .html file as a homepage on every new window, but not on every new tab. Please add that feature.

Hi, it is been a while since Firefox extensions have been updated after a long time that they have been released. Let me give you some examples: Bitwarden 2025.1.2 released on January 25, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 2024.12.4 released on December 27, 2024. 1Password 8.10.58 released on January 21, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 8.10.56 released on December 12, 2024. Privacy Badger 2025.1.17 released on January 14, 2025 but on Firefox there is version 2024.7.17 released on July 17, 2024. The versions match those at the time of writing. Other extensions are not updated on a regular basis. Can you make sure that the extensions are updated regularly, with at most a couple of days difference? Thank you

Hi Firefox Team, I've been using Firefox Nightly for the past week, and I absolutely love the vertical tabs and sidebar features. The ability to have an AI chatbot and some extensions at the bottom of the sidebar is super convenient. However, one thing I really miss from my time using Edge is the ability to pin certain websites, like Instagram or Reddit, to the sidebar. It was great for quickly scrolling through social media while working on my main tabs. Right now, I don't see an option to do this in Firefox Nightly, and I think adding a simple "+" button to pin certain websites in the sidebar would be a fantastic addition. It would make multitasking even better and enhance the overall browsing experience. I hope you consider adding this feature in a future update! Thanks for all the great work. Looking forward to seeing how Firefox evolves!

There are many Email Service Providers (hosted service) are looking for multi-factor or password less authentication using Oauth2. However Thunderbird OAuth2 is limited to few known OAuth2 providers like Gmail or Outlook. There is lot of demand for security feature (MFA) due to increasing fishing attack and loosing customers to bigs sharks like Gmail and Outlook. As I understand TB is promoting K9-Thunferbird for Android and iOS will be there soon. If you like end users to adopt open source clients I feel OAuth2 support must without which there is no competition with Gmail or Outlook.

How to create a new message in a new tab or create a draft in the existing window? It is not convenient that writing a message is currently only possible in a new window. A draft could also be edited in the message pane, not even a new page is required. Everything in one window would be the most optimal.

Hello, these Independent Voices are certainly nice, but I want to set my own independent color (for example, some cyan, any RGB) or a photo with a creeper (to feel the simpler times). And at the same time, I want the Firefox logo on the main screen to adapt and, if necessary, turn black so it doesn't blend in with the wallpaper. In Waterfox, this is not fully implemented, and the logo text does not change color, as I understand it. I believe this is one of the small joys that will significantly make the world better and more orange. Please don't merge it with that idea with 0 kudos; its title seems not entirely obvious to me.

This button has been missing since the version 115.2.1. I am requesting this button to be added back as it saves a lot of time. Now instead I have to share it to the other app (download manager in this case). Before I could just tap and hold a .mp4 video and select "Open link in external app" and at first it used to ask which app to open .mp4 files with, and from next time Firefox just remembers it. Its just so annoying, I wish this button was not removed in the first place. Also long-tapping some videos and images do not open the context menu at all. have tried it in multiple versions of Firefox Android across the same site and image. All the versions after 115.2.1, even the lastest version 134.0.2 lack this button. Please add it again!!

The thunderbird image in the app icon is really beautiful - it's unfortunate that it's so small due to the large amount of whitespace surrounding it. I think it would look much better if you removed the bird from its white shroud and let it encircle the app icon itself, up to the edge.

When my inbox is empty, it's just an empty black background. It would be nice to have a nice looking "no emails" image there instead.

It would be nice if PIP didn't close / need to be manually started on new page... For example if I go to an anime site, it has an auto-next where when the episode ends, it goes to the next episode's page. During this transition PIP is closed, and I have to reopen it. It would be preferable if in site settings there was an "always PIP for video autoplay" so that during page refresh, the PIP stays open on last/black frame and then when the next video starts it starts playing in the PIP player. I use more than 90 folders to tidy my inbox. When I need to access a specific folder or a different email account, it sometimes is painful to scroll until I find the one I need. Would it be possible to set a specific button (or simply a ctrl-clic on any folder) to fold all the folders and get a clean space?

Would it be possible to implement a rule for the Calendar module, that would let us automatically accept any calendar invitation (typically, Gmail ones) with a preset specific calendar? e.g. My coworker sends me different appointments that I only need to know in order not to make my own appointments at times she will not be in our workshop. When she sends me her invitations, I can set Thunderbird to automatically accept them with the calendar I use for her.

I've been using Nine email on Android devices for a few years now but would like to move to Thunderbird as this is also my Windows PC email client. The presentation of emails in the Inbox in Nine is 'cleaner' in my opinion, with the sender on the first line, the subject on the second line, and then subsequent line(s) containing the email contents. I'm not so keen on the Thunderbird approach of attaching the email contents to the subject and simply separating them with a hyphen as I find it harder to read. I've attached examples from Nine and Thunderbird to show what I mean - Nine is at the top and Tunderbird underneath. It would be great (for me anyway) if there was an option/setting to have the subject and contents presented on separate lines as Nine does. Thanks.

I love Reader View, but it's annoying that the Reader View icon gets pushed around when other icons (like video & translate) are present. Reader View is something you habitually and often enable and then disable. So if the icon has suddenly snuck to the left, then well... you'll be clicking something else by mistake. 🙂 Image displaying the Reader View icon's propensity for not staying in its original position: Please consider improving the Firefox UX by having a stable location for the Reader View icon. Dear Mozilla Team, I’d like to suggest a feature that could further enhance the user experience: Currently, when the bookmarks toolbar is hidden, there is no native option to make it appear temporarily on the new tab page. In Google Chrome, the bookmarks bar automatically appears on new tab pages, even when hidden, and disappears once you navigate to a website. This behavior is incredibly convenient, as it allows quick access to bookmarks without keeping the toolbar visible at all times. Could you consider adding a similar option in Firefox? For example: A setting to "Show Bookmarks Toolbar on New Tab Page Only." This would allow users to access bookmarks quickly while maintaining a clean interface on other pages. This small addition could make a significant difference for users managing multiple bookmarks and tabs.
