When my inbox is empty, it's just an empty black background. It would be nice to have a nice looking "no emails" image there instead.

The thunderbird image in the app icon is really beautiful - it's unfortunate that it's so small due to the large amount of whitespace surrounding it. I think it would look much better if you removed the bird from its white shroud and let it encircle ...
